The black 1065CC Hardback Case for Tablets from Pelican is a crushproof, watertight and dust-proof way to transport, carry or store your iPad,iPad 2,iPad 2 with Smart Cover. It will also fit your new iPad but without a Smart Cover. The hard shell is designed to withstand the worst that can happen during travel while the soft interior is computer-friendly and won't scratch the surface of your tablet/computer. The interior lining is also shock- absorbing for added protection. The watertight gasket keeps water out to 3' (0.9 m).

I got this case for traveling with my iPad 4 and it's perfect for the job. It's very solid, shuts tightly and the clasp is good quality. I'll have no fear of it getting crushed in my luggage.
My only issue is that if you simply put your iPad in by itself it moves around when closed, so for a secure fit you need some foam, or have your iPad in a cover. I put it in my Snugg, Ultra Thin-Case (also recommended) and it fits perfectly.
