Comments about Dot Line 60 LED Ringlight:
At this price point, it's really not that bad of a ring light.
It really outputs a lot of light at short distances and the light is dimmable.
Since a ring light is for close-up work, it does the job as a fill light.
I use this ring light with my Canon 5d MkII.
But here are my observations:
- On my Canon 17-40mm lens, I had to zoom in to about 30mm so I didn't see the ring light in the frame. I had to zoom in even more with the 24-70mm lens.
- The included lens adapter attaches fine to my lenses, but the light doesn't lock onto the lens adapter. It's pretty snug, but it can fall off if bumped.
(To be clear, the ring light "snaps" onto the included lens adapter, but does not "lock.")
- It doesn't have an easy way to attach a gel. I had to cut and tape some Rosco CTO gel so I could balance the light to 3200K.
In conclusion, I would say the price is decent and it works, but it could use some changes to make it better.

Comments about Dot Line 60 LED Ringlight:
Great light to use for macro, close-ups and portraits. It's a nice alternative when you don't have the time or the space to setup strobes or complex lighting systems. You can see right away the effect it's going to have on the subject and dial the amount of light you need. Because of the adapters you can screw it on lenses between 52mm and 77mm. You cannot go wrong for the price.
