The Fantasea Line FP7100 Housing For Nikon Coolpix P7100 is a durable polycarbonate underwater case for your Nikon Coolpix P7100 digital camera. Featuring a depth rating of 200' (60 m), the housing has ergonomically designed and labeled controls enabling access to all camera functions. A double O-ring seal ensures a watertight haven for your Coolpix. Camera installation is quick and easy, so you can get to shooting right away. A fixed lens port is included.
The FP7100 Housing is shock resistant and safeguards your valuable investment against not only water, but also sand, dust, frost and other potentially damaging elements. Compatible with the full FP7000 accessory system, the FP7100 housing allows you to improve the quality of your images with a slew of optional add-ons, including the following: A flex arm, focus light, slave flash, fiber optic cable, BigEye wide angle lens, SharpEye macro lens, EyeGrabber lens holder, EyeDaptor lens adapter, RedEye color correction filter, and Blue Ray Tray (all sold separately).
The optional BigEye wide angle lens enables you to get closer to your subject while still fitting everything in frame. This reduces distortion caused by the water between you and your subject, thus improving image quality. The SharpEye macro lens is designed to aid you in extreme close-up photography.
The optional RedEye color correction filter and other compatible filters help restore colors lost underwater. Don't let your colors get absorbed or muted; get a corrective filter to bring back color richness, vibrancy and fidelity to your underwater images!
The FP7100 includes a special mount for lighting accessories and features a removable double fiber optic cable connection. It comes with a removable flash diffuser to improve lighting quality, as well. There's even a removable anti-glare hood for the LCD screen to help keep out unwanted light.
The FP7100 is not only great for underwater photography, but also for outdoor above-the-surface water activities, such as paddle sports, sailing, boating, surfing and fishing. It also provides a nice protective home for your camera during typically "dry" activities that nonetheless sometimes become wet ones, such as hunting, backpacking and camping.
