The Panasonic PT-LW25HU Portable Projector has network capability built right in so you can monitor and control a group of projectors over your LAN. You can monitor conditions like power status, lamp status, signal condition, lamp-use time and so on with the multi projector monitoring and control software. You can even have projectors email you alerts when a lamp burns out or there has been a power problem.
Beyond its impressive network capabilities the PT-LW25HU is an impressive projector in its own right. It can accept all the major world video standards for video input and it's compatible with 720p and 1080i high definition TV.
It's also capable of displaying closed captioning modes, which are useful not just for the hearing impaired but for aiding people who are learning English as a second language. CC also comes in handy in noisy environments like trade shows.
With 2500 lumens of brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio the PT-LW25HU is capable of projecting crisp, vivid images even when the room isn't totally dark, as when your audience needs enough light to take notes. Finally, with projecting power, high contrast ratio and network capabilities this projector is ideal for the educational and corporate markets.

Comments about Panasonic PT-LW25HU Portable Projector:
I use this projector to trace large stencils. The images are sharp and I have absolute control over it's size. It is very big, and a bit heavy, it also required a lot of room around it since it gets very hot. But that's not much of a problem if placed in a well ventilated area. Overall really great projector for it's price.

Comments about Panasonic PT-LW25HU Portable Projector:
I am using this device to see movies. Unfortunately I did not realize that this projector does not have a HDmI or other HD input. It is good for computer VGA and composite. The speakers are too weak for showing a movie, but I use external speakers. Unfortunately the projector does not have a audio out connection (not even headphone) which would allow to adjust the volume with the same remote. The focus is very sensitive and gets out of focus a couple of times after starting (the manuel says for the first 30 minutes, however, after the second correction after about 5 minutes it seems quite stable). I had a NEC projector before and use an Epson in church, I never had that problem before. The picture itself is good, but feeding from my Roku the Epson (a WSVGA as well) has a much better picture due to HDMI connection. If you have blue ray you would be very disappointed not to have a HD connection. However, having said all this for the price under $ 300 this is a great deal for anybody who just wants to watch movies on a big screen instead of a TV and with a good resolution. You can easily carry it to differnt places or have a movi in the garden. For movies the "cinema" image setting works much better than "image", which causes the picture build up to delay. There are many settings for the picture to play with from screen siye to contrast an dbackground, under ceiling (upside down) projection and back projection. The fan is really quiet, especially in economy mode, which is absolutely sufficent even during the day in our livingroom. I like the remote and manuel keystone correction works good. I will eventuelly hang the projector under the ceiling.i would not recomment it because of the missing HD input and missing audio out.

Comments about Panasonic PT-LW25HU Portable Projector:
The PT-LW25HU projector is a nice little machine. I wanted something to use mostly for powerpoint presentations and to show dvd's. This projector is plenty bright enough and the throw didstance works well for th erooms I use it in. The fan is quiet and set up is easy. It doesn't have an HDMI input for high def but I knew that before I bought it.

Comments about Panasonic PT-LW25HU Portable Projector:
I just bought this on special at B&H which made it much cheaper than the competition brands. I missed out to notice that it does not have a HDMI input but only VGA and component and network (which I did not try yet). I use it for watching DVDs and Roku Netflix movies. It seems I have to adjust the screen and image settings individual for different typs of movies. The speaker is on the low end, unfortuantely there is no audio/headphone out connection, which would allow external speakers, now connected to the Roku, to have volume control via the projector remote. The picture quality is good so far ( I once by mistake used the "image" setting for a movie, which cuased delays in the pictures, but once set to cinema the picture changed smoothly). For homevideo the missing HDMI and audio out are a little issue. The noise of the fan is hardly heard especially when set to eco mode, which is still great even with daylight. In church I use an epson powerlite projector which has better connections.
