The Plattan On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Indigo) from Urbanears are designed to provide high-quality audio and a comfortable fit that integrate perfectly into a mobile lifestyle. The headphones feature 40mm handmade driver units to deliver clear, natural audio with a wide frequency response. An integrated mic and control button allow you to easily make phone calls and control music playback on compatible smartphones and MP3 players such as the iPhone and iPod touch, as well as smartphones from Blackberry, HTC, and more.
For long-lasting comfort, the headphones have an adjustable headband that fits virtually any head size. Thick on-ear cushions provide a soft fit that will keep you listening for hours. The cushions and closed-back earcup design also help to block out ambient noise so you can focus on your music. The headphones have a folding design for convenient portability.
The right earcup has a unique "Zound Plug" that is actually an extra headphone jack. This allows a friend to plug their headphones into yours so you can listen to the same tunes together. The left earcup has a single-sided fabric-covered cable that provides durability and resistance to tangles. The standard 3.5mm plug provides compatibility with a wide variety of MP3 players, CD players, laptops, and more.

Comments about Urbanears Plattan On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Indigo):
I give these a 5/5 for look & design, 3.5/5 for comfort, and 3/5 for sound quality. Bought 'em to replace the extremely bulky Sony monitor headphones I have with the 50 million ft long cord...
I've had the Plattans for about two weeks now. They are smaller than I expected (which was a welcome surprise.. though I guess I didn't really look at the dimensions to begin with, just knew they'd be smaller than my old pair). Was definitely figuring on sacrificing sound for aesthetics here, but the sound isn't all that bad. They definitely could use some improvements toward a fuller, more rounded sound.
I listen to a pretty broad range of music, and most of the time I'm listening to what I guess what would be considered indie/alternative rock. With the Plattans some things sound too tinny or kind of empty, like something's missing? Sorry I'm not any audiophile by any means, and I don't know how to describe what it is I'm hearing really... but those are my impressions of it after a couple weeks of use.
But, whatevs. They look pretty sweet!
They are tight, and I have a small-ish head. But they don't really hurt my ears after extended wear, and the feeling of tightness kind of diminishes a bit.
All in all, I recommend these because they are portable as anything, the price is right, and they look good. If you're looking for a pair of travel 'phones, these are a good bet. If you're looking for higher quality sound, then these maybe not so much.
