The GT780DX-406US 17.3" Notebook Computer (Black) from MSI is a high-performance notebook computer, built with gaming and multimedia use in mind. The system features a 17.3" Full HD widescreen display backlit with LED lamps, which use less power and provide better image quality than their CCFL counterparts. The screen also has an anti-glare finish so you'll be able to play in brightly lit conditions with ease. The Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution is provided by an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M graphics card with 1.5GB of dedicated memory.
The chassis features a bold design with a sleek black finish. Audio is provided by the Dynaudio sound system. The speakers are placed in an optimal location for superlative audio quality. You'll be able to tune the output using an EQ to suit your needs.
The system is powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor. The computer is loaded with 12GB of DDR3 RAM, a 750GB 7200rpm hard drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a built-in microphone and an integrated HD webcam capable of recording in 720p high-definition video. I needed an editing laptop for an HDSLR workflow, and for the specs/price this system could not be beat! Running Photoshop,After Effects and Premiere Pro CS5.5 with no problems at all!There have been people who have reported having hardware issues and BSODs, but so far(thank goodness) I have not experienced any.On the minus side, yes, there is some bloatware to deal with and I've also noticed that the keyboard somewhat frequently misses a key while typing - not sure how that works for gamers, but for me it's a non-issue.

For my purposes (photography) a rather mediocre product -- silly aspect ratio (problem w/all Win PCs) and poor color control. Planned to use with external monitor, but that implemenation works poorly (low res on external monitor), Shoulda gone Mac. Already FS at ridiculous price (B&H would not accept return because it has been used for a few hours).

Great gaming laptop, Pros? Really? Everything! I have owned this laptop for 2 weeks and mostly use it to play BF3. Plays BF3 at 1080 with everything set to High and only Textures set to Very High and AA at x4. FPS never drops below 34. Infact, Maps like Caspian Border and Kharg Island plays at 40+ fps. When flying and on 3rd person view, fps jumps to over 55. I am running the laptop stock with no hardware upgrades and only overclocked the video card and CPU. Keyboard is awesome.A realy gaming keyboard and very comfortable. Love the leds on the keyboard and the over all appearance of the laptop. Looks expensive(well it is but its worth it). I guess Im lucky enough to get a properly functiong laptop without any issues. About B&H services: VERY, VERY PROFESSIONALS, shipped in 1 hour, and received in 9 days (APO address AFGHANISTAN). thank you B&H.

Not only is it sleek and beautiful, but it runs games like a champ. The speakers aren't the best for blasting music but everything else about it makes up for it. It's a great computer for everyone. I don't why the reviewer before me stated that it's only great for guys. It's a gaming laptop. It's fierce. Girls can game and be fierce too.

I compare it with ASUS G53gx, that i heaved for 2 weeks and cracked
Cons: None. I've had no issues that others have reported.
And about B&H services only good things: after i place my order it took 1 hour and was shipped. My package arrived in 10 days (APO address, AFGHANISTAN),perfectly packed.
