The RT-N12/B1 300Mbps Wireless-N Router from ASUS is a wireless router with both wired and wireless network connections designed specifically for small business and home office networking use. With 2T2R MIMO Technology and two 5dBi high gain antennas, this wireless router creates an extended coverage area with advanced wireless performance, making it ideal for streaming HD video, placing VoIP calls and online gaming.
With the ASUS unique Quick Internet Setup and Graphical User Interface, this wireless router is easy for anyone to install and manage, even for novices! This wireless router even allows you to set up 4 SSIDs, so, users can flexibly manage internet access and bandwidth allocation. A little over a year ago we bought a Netgear router with all the bells and whistles when we got a Smart TV. The router worked good but it kept shutting down my laptop. I finally got fed up and decided to replace it. After doing some research I decided on the ASUS because of the features and price. It was about half what I paid for the other one. It was easy to install and works great. I am totally satisified with this product.

First let me say B&H is always a safe place to buy. Second the router works great. The set up instructins are poor and offer little for a person with limitted experience with router/repeater setups. I added a 25dbi gain antenna and wow I can pull WIFI from anywhere in the RV park.

The RT-N12/B1 offers excellent, fast,reliable connection. There are 3 laptops in the house, and for the 2 weeks that I've had it, there hasn't been a single issue. The box of the router is always cool to the touch, a lot cooler than the AT&T's modem sitting next to it. I did have a little trouble to set it up without the accompanied disk initially, but after using the disk,the set-up was a breeze. Yes, I would buy it again if I ever need another one.
