These batteries come charged, and they last for a very long time in a drawer. I am slowly replacing all my rechargeables with these Eneloop batteries. The best part is you don't have to worry about your kid leaving his toys on and killing the batteries. I would buy them again and you just can't beat B&H for service or price.

The Sanyo Eneloop AAA batteries come fully charged so you can put them to use right out of the box. They recharge easily and completely in my LaCrosse BC-1000 (use the slow charge to maintain battery life).
They work. They recharge and work again. Buy 'em.

I use these in location assignments to power my flash triggers, LED lights and camera accessories. I found the Eneloops to do exactly as described. They hold their charge for long periods, so they can be used in an instant when needed. They also seem to run much longer during actual use than the other major brands I used.

I use these batteries in mini flashlights. When you pick a flashlight up, you expect it to work and these batteries don't let you down! Even after months of being stored, they still deliver their power flawlessly.
