The Sunwayfoto DPG-39 Universal Quick-Release Plate is made from solid aluminum and is compatible with Arca-Swiss mounts. The convex edge design helps prevent any shifting and there are two safety-stop mounting holes on the back of the plate (screws are available separately). This is an excellent QR plate for smaller film and DSLR cameras, including the Olympus OM20, Nikon D80 and D90, Canon 550D, 600D, etc. The plate is 1.77" (45mm) long and 1.53" (39mm) wide. The groove length is 0.69" (17.5mm).

A nice, sturdy mount. I use it in the Nikon V1.
The Nikon FT1 adapter will hit the plate so it is best to mount it in the FT1 (which is desirable anyway for balance).

This is a very good universal plate. It does what it's supposed to do, it's gloriously overpackaged in a gold embossed gift box and comes with all the necessary hex keys and a couple tiny hex screws that can attach to the bottom of the plate (acting as detent pins only on Sunwayfoto clamps). Very good price. I use this on a Markins Q10 with a knob release.
Beware: I originally bought this for the Panasonic GH2, but it's not really suitable for that camera (the tripod mount on the GH2 isn't flush with the body, but rather protrudes about half a millimeter which means it flexes when you move the camera on the head). It fits my Olympus E-520 and Olympus OM-1 perfectly (I was planning on buying more of these for those cameras anyway), it just doesn't work with the GH2. But it made no claims to, so it's all good; just don't buy if you want a plate for a GH2. And in general, take a good look at the area around your camera's tripod thread to see if there's anything that would interfere with a flat plate being flush with the entire surface.
