Comments about Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 10.1" Netbook Computer (Aquamarine):

This netbook is extremely lightweight and compact for anyone who needs a keyboard. I take it to work everyday, it is lightweight and holds all the music, documents, programs and photos I need. The touch pad is extremely sensitive and I often end up typing somewhere strange on the page, but I am learning to avoid it. Internet is fast enough. Terrific price for what you get.

Compact, comfortable typing, but slooooow. Windows 7 Starter couldn't be more cumbersome, and the scrolling interface on the touch pad is awful. Intend to use soley for Skype, and the screen quality is excellent.

I got this netbook for my kid to play and learn at kid's websites. I first got a tablet but returned it because they just don't have the functionality as a real windows computer. This netbook does its job for browsing, it has the min resolution to have full browsing experience - you only need to to have the task bar at the bottom to auto hide. This computer is a little slow, but what do you expect at this price?

Comments about Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 10.1" Netbook Computer (Aquamarine):

I live on a military base in Afghanistan and travel quite a bit so wanted a compact Netbook that is lightweight but functional for the work I do at the various sites. The Acer Aspire Netbook came with Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 starter applications so the first thing I did was upgrade to the full versions of each so I could retain the look and feel of my full sized laptop. The keyboard is easy to type on - keys are about the same size as my work laptop. The screen is super sharp resolution and takes a bit to get used to the smaller size which means more scrolling but it's not bad.B&H service was great from start to finish. It was shipped quickly and the packaging was great - a box inside a box, surrounded by lots of bubble inserts for extra protection, which is needed when traveling from the US overseas. And the price for the Netbook was actually cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Altogether a great purchasing experience and I would definitely recommend B&H to others. I know I will use them again myself.
