The Shoulder Pad System Package With Dual Handgrips from Cavision is designed for use with miniDV video cameras. The dual handgrips and lightweight construction (ABS material + aluminum rods and camera plate) enhance handheld operation and reduce camera jitter. This system makes operating and moving the camera nearly effortless, with the weight distributed from your arms and wrists to your shoulder. The support is adjustable to fit different shoulder widths, and the universal 15mm rod system allows the use of most accessories available in this category.

Comments about Cavision Shoulder Pad System Package With Dual Handgrips:
I didn't expect a whole lot for the price, but this shoulder pad system delivered far less than I hoped. I bought it to pair with my Canon XF300 hoping to alleviate some of the longer days of handheld shooting. Just taking the parts out of the box I was already let down. The hand grips and shoulder pad are cheap plastic. The lock washers (with the teeth) are even cheaper plastic and gave me zero confidence that they would hold up over time. Funny thing is that the lock washers on the bars were different from on the shoulder pad and when I tried to lock them down the teeth did not fit properly and left a wiggle. Needless to say I returned the product. Handheld shooting with the XF300 is not so bad, but if I really want to go with a shoulder system in the future I'll be sure to pay good money for a better quality product. This one felt like a cheap toy.

Comments about Cavision Shoulder Pad System Package With Dual Handgrips:
The rig is solid built, and it is very easy to asemble and adjust.
When folded you can put it in a small bag, it has many ways to use, and the best of all is that you can mount it in a tripod without any special accesories like other rigs.
The best option I found for starting a more advanced rig system. And the price it's awesome!!!
