Comments about Dot Line Accessory Kit for DLC V1 DSRL Rig:
I got two sets to make my studio rig handheld. The grips are solid and feel good in my hands, but one of the grips shows very sloppy assembly. Clean all parts before use w/camera.
The handle-to-rod connectors are pretty standard and apparently durable, but could use some subtle engineering to match the quality of other makers.
My only concern with this type of assembly (all makers not just Dot Line), is the handle spud has no "keeper" so if the clamp loosened with handles aimed upwards, your whole rig could fall...maybe make the handle spud female threaded at the end (standard camera threading) so one could screw a "keeper bolt" to the end after placing the handle into the clamp. It would raise the price, but protect the $$$$ in attached gear.
I am happy with my purchase and the price, but since I am moving to carbon fiber rods, they should offer a less expensive "Handle & Clamp" package, without the rods included.
Congrats Dot Line! Keep it up; you are going in the right direction.

I buy this product for my Panasonic Lumix G2, but the measure of the screen terminal is different of the camera screen. The product is good, well constructed, but unvaliable for me...
