The Samsung UN55EH6000 55" LED HDTV is a 1080p HD panel with impressive picture quality, excellent sound technology and a slim profile design. With twice the resolution of standard HD TVs, the UN55EH6000 delivers full HD picture quality that will blow you away and redefine reality.
Two 10W stereo speakers can create an uncanny surround sound illusion thanks to the wizardry of SRS TheaterSound HD. TS HD actually seems to create phantom speakers that project sound throughout your watching and listening area. And these are just the basics on this set.
Plug in a USB thumb drive (not included) into the set's USB port and view a JPEG picture file slide show while you listen to a soundtrack of MP3 files from the same drive. You can show digital home movies, photos, PC presentations and more on your TV using the remote control, thanks to ConnectShare Movie technology.
With sleek, minimalist style and envelope-pushing technology in an astoundingly thin panel, the UN55EH6000 is clearly cutting edge in more ways than one.

This is my new TV in the living room, which is a substantial upgrade from an old 32 inch. The picture and colors are great once you get it calibrated right where you want it. There are some reviews where people have posted their specifications which is where I started before tweaking the settings where I liked them best. The on-board speakers could be better, but if you're getting a TV like this, I would assume you have some decent home theatre speakers to set up with it.

Mounted on the wall, it looks beautiful with thin trim and its not too deep. The problem is, I think it's so big that it has a hard time keeping up with motion so you can see a little bit of a lag when something/someone moves fast on the screen. Also, for an HD LED tv, i think it should be a little clearer. You think you are getting a big tv for a great deal but sacraficing picture for size beats the purpose of entertainment when the lag constantly reminds you it's just a tv, not real life and therefore limits your experience with this tv.

Nice TV, but high 100% volume is a bit on the low. It is loud, but no margin to increase if situation required it.

Comments about Samsung UN55EH6000 55" LED HDTV:
I installed this TV over my fireplace, and it's great. The room gets a lot of sunlight, but this image is still good - no matter the angle you're looking at the TV. The set up was also really easy. I highly recommend this TV, especially for the price.

Great TV for the money. Good mid-priced TV. Not a lot of bells and whistles but I don't need the extra add ons.

Really great quality TV for the price point. The built in speakers aren't the best, but this TV is probably better served by hooking it up with a speaker system.

Upgraded from a 42" Samsung Plasma to this LED. We wanted a 55", LED with a fast refresh rate, and one that wasn't SMART - just a feature we felt we could do without. Got it for a great price with free shipping. Great job from B&H again.
