I'm using the wireless accessory kit with an Intuos5 tablet, and it works wonderfully. I shied away from the Intuos4 wireless due to reports of it having a lot of lag and turning smooth drawing arcs into jagged lines due to wireless connectivity problems.
I'm happy to report that I've had no problems like that with the Intuos5 wireless. Sketching is quick and precise, rendering the lines as well (or poorly ;-) as I would on paper. The new Wacom wireless has even performed flawlessly in an environment where my Apple Bluetooth trackpad was having significant connectivity problems with my Macbook Pro.
Kudos to Wacom for producing a wireless accessory that lives up to the high expectations of its users.

This device is awesome if you need a wireless kit, but for me it's better to simply keep the thing plugged in. I don't really need a wireless kit, but if you do, it works great. All the external component fit into the actual tablet itself, which is great, but on the flipside, it does mean that the tablet will switch to standby mode after a few minutes.
I think you get about 9 hours of battery life out of it. If you're moving from laptop to laptop, it would be useful, but I don't so I returned it.

I purchased this wireless kit for use with the Bamboo Capture Tablet. Having one less wire on my desk is great. There seams to be no loss of tracking or accuracy verses using the tablet with the usb cable. Some have complained about low battery life but I have been using the device for several days on one charge. I would like it if they made a small wall socket adapter like the one for an iPhone to charge the device without having to have a computer running. The table design allows for storage of the RF dongle so it does not get lost in transport.

Wen the time came to place my order for the Intuos5 Small tablet I reluctantly bought the wireless option also.
After using the tablet for several months I'm satisfied that I made the right decision to include the wireless kit with my purchase. I use it through the day and recharge it through a USB port of my desktop overnight. The battery lasts long enough for me to do several hours of photo editing.
I also like the fact that it will automatically sleep after several minutes of non-use. I have a tendency to get side-tracked and this feature preserves the battery life for when I'm actually editing.

The wireless kit is a must have if you own, or intend to buy the Intuos5. It was one of the main reasons I upgraded from my older Intuos3. Wires get in the way and make an office look cluttered. It's super easy to setup, just put the battery in and plug the little receiver into a USB port. It also charges quickly, just plug your Intuos5 cord in until it charges up. The response times seem great, haven't had any lag and I use my Intuos5 for hours on end.
