I bought this card specifically for my Canon 5D MkIII. Wow. Just... WOW! I need to shoot extended sequences at full speed in RAW and this card not only allows the MkIII to capture *far* more shots in the initial 6fps burst than specified (anything from 26 frames, to more than 34, depending on scene content), the buffer clearing speed is so fast that it can be hard to pick when it actually slows down. It's really something!
However... note that this only applies to cameras with enough processing "horsepower" to make use of the card speed. For example in a 7D you don't get any more shots in an 8fps burst compared to a 90x Sandisk Extreme Pro, but it does clear faster. Same goes for a D700 (in this case the Lexar 1000x does not perform any better than a Sandisk Ducati Edition, though again the buffer clears faster). In those cases the bottleneck is in the camera, not the card, and even a 60x card is more than enough. It may make a difference if you shoot in JPG at max. speed though.
Bottom line: if you have a 5D MkIII and even *suspect* you might need to use the full speed capability of the camera, you owe it to yourself to get this card!

The card arrived a little over two weeks ago. I am a wedding photographer/videographer. I was asked by a friend to shoot some video as a favor and found that this card is not compatible with my Lexar Professional card reader (USB 2.0). Be prepared to upgrade to a card reader that is USB 3.0 to get anything off of this card.
I did love the size and how much I could fit on this card but I feel I had one of those weird incidences where everything that could go wrong, did. I ended up having to send the card into Lexar for data recovery. Their customer service rep was friendly & nice. Their turn around time for data recovery is too long so I had to go to a company to get the data repaired.
If you are going to buy this, make sure you have a USB 3.0 card reader or the older USB 2.0 version will corrupt your files.

Comments about Lexar 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I currently use this card with my 5D mark III, and I couldn't be happier. I can shoot video at max bitrate settings all day long without any card issues, and 32gb is usually more than enough for a full day's worth of shooting.
I usually use Sandisk as my go-to SD/CF card maker, but Lexar cards are faster, and just as high-quality and reliable.
Bottom line; If you use CF-enabled DSLRs for video, this is the card to have, hands down!

I use this memory card for sports and portrait work. It is extremely fast. Both my Canon 5D mark III and Canon 7D seem to get more frames per second than with any of my other memory cards. I have not had the card too long, but so far it is working perfectly.

The 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA by Lexar works well with my Nikon D800.
The speed in which it works enables me to capture my photographs with ease and security.
The card gives me about 400 raw files, which is plenty for a average shoot.

With this card I am able to basically keep shooting forever with my 5d mark iii without any slowdown. The card writes fast enough so that the buffer in the camera never fills up, great for action shots and sports.

I use this card with my Canon EOS 5D mark III. It really improves the high-speed shooting, allowing very quick buffer emptying.
I strongly recommend it. Still can't say anything about reliability (just used for 1000 photos), but all the users seem enthusiast also for this.

Not only does Lexar make the best cards, but the speed of this one is unsurpassed. I shoot RAW with a D800 which results in gigantic files. They transfer to my PC faster than my D7000 did from SD cards with files less than half the size!

I am using the Lexar CF 1000x UDMA 7 card with a Nikon D4 and I am using a Lexar USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader.
This card keeps up with the D4 so I almost never slow down taking pictures (RAW, no loss compression). When it is time to process the images, they quickly move from the card to my PC in an instant.
I cannot say enough good things about this card.
If you need a fast card for image capture, I am sure that you will not be disappointed with this Lexar Compact Flash.

Comments about Lexar 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I shoot with an d800e and this cf is the only way to go. I shoot lots of improptu portraits and sports and the buffer is full most of the time. This flushes quite quickly. In my mode of shooting the sd is just about useless. Nothing like waiting for the buffer to write to make you rip your hair out. Also use it with a USB 3.0 read/writer and it is so nice not to have to sit there and wait an hour for it to empty.

Comments about Lexar 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I am a people shooter, using the Canon 5D MarkIII. The lightning fast speed of this card allows me to deliver the moment when my portrait subject allows me to really see past the mask, (usually at the end of a burst of rapid fire exposures).
Candids become way more fun for me, when I can capture in a quick burst of shots, the unexpected moment during a cocktail party, incentive trip, or among award recipients receiving congratulations from their peers.
