The Samsung UN40ES6100FXZA 40" Class Slim LED HDTV is an ultra slim 1080p HD panel with Samsung's own Smart TV technology. You will be able to watch your favorite movies while you browse the Web or explore the smart hub. Access all your apps and download new ones, such as Netflix, Facebook, YouTube, Hulu Plus and Twitter.
Samsung's Smart TV has retooled its smart hub feature to further expand its access to a world of online entertainment. My only 4 complaints are:
1) The software/hardware methods to enhance the video experience on video lower than 1080p are interesting. I compare this with how Receivers/Amplifiers produce sound. Some are bright, flat, dull, rich... It is worth mentioning that enhancing video lower than 1080p is better than nothing.
2) The SmartHub layout and apps cannot be organized and there is no option to remove the default apps.
3) The Source inputs that are displayed only show up when the Video is active. This causes issues with universal remotes, such as the Logitech Harmony. The video source list should be static and in the same order.
4) Forget using the browser as there is not enough memory to render most sites.
Given these nick-picky complaints, I am overall very impressed with this display and it has improved dramatically over the 7 year old 40" Samsung 1080p it replaced.

Just buy it – you will never regret!
It does great job as TV, but you can also watch any content on the NET.
Even without any keyboard you have several options how to navigate your browser on TV.
Everything is very simple and self-explainable.
So, SmartHUB is really Smart HUB!
Plus, it's very cool way to show your photos as a photographer to your guests.
Images calibrated for print and exported in sRGB mode, look beautiful without any TV calibration.
And if you are looking for great sound you must buy dedicated equipment
P.S. B&H is always the best customer service I ever see.

The features and picture quality of this TV are amazing. Great clarity. Excellent black level. Crisp edges. Blue-ray movies are incredible. I only have one point to make about this TV and it's something I have never seen on any other TV or even my smaller Samsung. When the TV is off the screen has a "wavy" appearance. It looks very distorted when viewed at an angle. We don't see this distortion when the TV is on but it is definitely there when it is off. I called Samsung and they say it is normal. I am no expert but in comparison to every other 40" LED TV I have seen when off, I have not seen this screen distortion. I just hope it IS normal and Samsung is not just telling me that so I don't return it. Still, when on, the picture is beautiful and crystal clear.
