compare to the samsung 60eh6003 i bought (and returned), it is day and night. right out of box, the picture quality is very impressive. it also has all the interfaces (hdmi, optical, etc) i need. highly recommended!

Setup is easy and intuitive, and picture quality is impressive with no additional adjustments required.

Major Disappointment: Samsung did not provide a QWERTY keyboard with this model,making data entries awkward in the browser, using an on screen keyboard. On a previous Samsung TV purchased, a keyboard was included.

Also expectations should be kept low for the Samsung internet browser as it has limited capability and is unable to connect to secure sites like Skydrive. Also does not have Flash so most video sites don't work.

It's OK for basic and unsophisticated web operations.

Samsung Allshare software is equally clumsy for sharing media across home network.

The TV as a TV is impressive though, and as long as expectations for the ancillary features are kept low, it is quite satisfactory.

Samsung has a brightly lit logo on the bottom bezel that is brighter than any screen image. This is an unnecessary distraction and provides no useful purpose. A piece of black electrical tape solved that problem.

Connection to a sound system is all but mandatory as the internal sound is inferior quality.

We've had this TV for about 2 weeks now. It is mounted on the wall and connected to the internet via WIFI. We love how thin and light it is. It was very easy to set up and the picture quality was OK out of the box. We are still fine-tuning the picture, which has been more difficult than I would have expected, but we are getting there and it looks pretty good now.

The 3D option is cool but I doubt we will use it very often. We haven't messed around with the Smart TV function yet either, but it is very nice to have the option to use the internet on the TV rather than finding a computer.

The sound is no good, sounds like it's coming from an empty auditorium, but we just set up a soundbar which is much better. I definitely would recommend using some sort of external speaker.
