I upgraded to this TV from a 6 year old DLP rear projection samsung TV. The color on this screen really pops and the quality is fantastic.
Although gimmicky, I really like the 3D effects and the glasses it comes with are not bad at all.
The built-in TV features are easy to use and intuitive. Set-up was easy.
If you are looking for a high quality 3D slim TV, this is the one to choose (for now, until a newer model is released).
I also liked that B&H is an authorized Samsung dealer (very important to me).
I had relatives come over to visit one day and I received a call the following week to find out what model of TV I had... because they wanted one too since they liked it so much.
The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because in black scenes, you can see some LED lighting (I believe this is called flashlighting) at the corners. Apparently this is pretty common and is one of the drawbacks if you desire a large and very slim TV. It doesn't affect my viewing pleasure at all though and I am not that picky about it.

DELIVERY AND SETUP
The TV arrived with the box in good condition and the B&H delivery service crew then un-boxed the set so that we could check for internal damage.
The set was fine and after the crew (2 guys) left we proceeded to hook it up to my AVR, STB and Blu-ray player.
After switching it on the display cycled through a series of steps including instructions for setting up a connection to my wireless network. This whole process was easy to follow and took about 15 minutes.
The TV comes with four 3D glasses which you have to assemble by attaching the ear pieces and installing the batteries (CR 2025).
After initializing the glasses, an easy process, we were watching our first 3D movie.
PROS
This is an AWESOME set with regards to picture quality, it's phenomenal. The 3D is amazing, the best we have seen so far on a TV set.
CONS
I have noticed a color bleed/cloudiness in the corners and a large spot in the center. It's only noticeable when the screen shows black or a dark scene. Some forums I have read say this issue of screen uniformity is common with this model. Realistically, though, what percentage of your TV watching is a predominately black/dark scene or background?
The voice and motion commands are a disappointment. When watching the TV at night in a darkened room with the lights off there is not enough light for the camera to pick up any movements and the TV microphone does not pick up verbal commands if the TV volume is loud. The TV sometimes picks up voice from the show you are watching and tries to start a command.
Tried the mike on the SMART TOUCH REMOTE but this did not work well either.
I can't seem to get the voice and motion features to work well in my living room, but at the moment I don't think I'd ever really use them.
I think the technology for voice and motion is not there yet. Maybe with the ability to upgrade this TV (EVOLUTION KIT), once the technology catches up, they will work much better.
The Universal Serial Bus (USB) inputs are all on the back of the TV and are not readily accessible for streaming of video from storage devices, cameras, camcorders and USB drives unless the TV is mounted free standing on a stand with nothing on either side and with access to the back.
CAVEAT
One of the major disappointments has been that Samsung has chosen to no longer to offer compatibility with their remote app for IPhone users. This app was awesome and allowed you to control the TV via your iPhone or iPad.
Also, some of the much touted major app software e.g AllShare Play is PC only. Mac users are out of luck!
SUMMARY
This is a great TV in terms of picture quality, colors, design, GUI, calibrations, etc.etc.
