The Magnus VT-200 Tripod System With 2-Way Pan Head is a stable video tripod made from anodized aluminum that can support loads up to 6.6 lb. The two-way pan head has auto-lock, quick-release mounting, and provides smooth motion for panning and tilting. The VT-200 tripod system weighs 3.45 lb (1.5 kg).
The 3-section leg design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 21.7 to 60", and a gear-driven center column gives you precise friction control when adjusting the height of this tripod. A mid-level spreader provides improved stability on uneven terrain. The VT-200 has separate pan and tilt locks and a bubble level for precision leveling, and offers a full 360° pan range.
The included quick-release plate features a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw with a video pin. A carry case with a shoulder strap is included for storage and transport.

Comments about Magnus VT-200 Tripod System with 2-Way Pan Head:
I use this as my second Tripod for the static camera shots. I run 2 camera systems and when I first set this unit up found it not so steady. The tilt when actioned had a little slop so if you you hope to do sweeping pans with a tilt you will get this slop then motion. So don't plan on this being your high end one to go to at this price. It will work fine as a backup.

Comments about Magnus VT-200 Tripod System with 2-Way Pan Head:
This is my second tripod in two years. The first one, from another brand name, broke in less than two years. It had a ton of issues, mostly due to parts being made out of plastic. This tripod has plastic parts too, but it seems to be a tad-bit sturdier than that "other" brand. It has a nice fluid head, although a bit snug at first but I expect that to loosen with wear and tear. So far it has provided good stability for my Canon VIXIA and is getting the job done. However, this tripod is not meant for heavier cameras, so check the weight of your camera to make sure it matches the specs for this tripod. Legs are sturdy and it comes with extra foot pads. The only real annoying thing is the carrying bag it came with - just a weeeee bit too small for the tripod. Also, some of the parts are plastic, which will probably break in time. But hey, for the price who cares, right?!?!?! Sure far it's doing it's job as described on B&H. And my camera likes it a lot better than that "other" tripod I own....which is now broken and deserves a proper burial...RIP. Good product, I'd recommend it for novice to semi-pro videographers-filmmakers that need a tripod for their smaller cameras.
