I ordered Nikon Coolpix 4300 (will write a review on the camera next) late evening 4/2, the next morning I got an e-mail from B & H that the order has been shipped and expected date is 4/2 by UPS.
I tracked the order on UPS site on 4/5 but the status was updated with arrival date as 4/5, was disappointed as it was a gift to my niece, called B & H Customer care, the guy was very polite and said 'Do not worry abt the status on UPS but you will receive end of day today'. Surprise!! Got it on time on the day expected….
B & H has a wonderful tool that compares multiple cameras (or other products on sale) across brands selections and features, an amazing option for newbies on camera. Nikon Coolpix 4300 simple point & shoot camera, with great picture quality and simple to handle, it LCD is wide and touchscreen that makes user to move pics/video . I just love this camera and appreciate B & H for making our day!!

I bought this camera to use in my trip to Orlando. I am not use to little cameras. I have a Canon 60d so I am used to a more professional equipment. I needed something small to take pictures in the Parks. The Coolpix S4300 is a interesting camera because it has a easy interface, is very small and has a very good price. But it takes too long to capture an image, is difficult to focus in what you want and don't have a night picture module. The only way to take picture in the dark is changing to a more sensitive ISO. And it can take a while to make any changes in the flash module or even in the ISO. So you can loose interesting moments while you try to find the right way to capture your image. Its a good equipment for daylight pictures.

Bought this as a gift for my wife to replace an older Panasonic Lumix that needed repairs. We already own a Nikon D-60 digital SLR that we use for family and professional photography, but we've always kept a digital point and shoot as a back up. This camera is by far more easy to carry, and yet has many of the features of our larger Nikon. The lens was a wider angle than the old Lumix, which will really come in handy for landscape vistas we shoot in National Parks. We were very pleased with the product, and with B&H's quick turn around and pricing. Thanks for a great online purchase experience.

This was a gift for my son. It is the second one he has had. He likes the touch screen. I hope this one lasts longer than his first one which only lasted a little over a year. I received my camera on 12/24/12 and had it charged and ready for use on Christmas Day. It was incredibly easy to set up and use right out of the box. I took dozens of photos and they all came out beautifully! The 16mp resolution and 6x optical zoom in such a small package is nothing short of a miracle! The easy to use menus, the touchscreen, and the optical VR image stabilization system makes it virtually impossible to take a bad photo. All of my family were extremely impressed with the photo quality contained in such a small camera and everyone wanted to know what type of camera this little miracle was! My primary reason for purchasing this camera was due to my absolute disgust with my cellphone camera. This camera is the same size as my cellphone and fits in my pocket making it possible for me to take high quality photographs on the go. The Nikon Coolpix S4300 has exceeded my expectations and goes with me everywhere I go.

I got this for my mother and father in-law. My Wife wanted to get them a camera that was easy to use, had a fast shutter, and a bit of zoom with good quality all for under [$] (@ time of purchase was marked down to [$]). I took delivery of the camera and did the initial inspection. Everything was as described. I added in a 8GB SD card. It's really thinner in the hand then I thought it was be. It's fast enough from pushing the on button to ready to take a picture. My Wife, whom is fairly adept at technology but low on patience had no issue with the speed of the camera when booting up or taking a picture. The touchscreen function (which I somehow missed in the spec sheet) was a nice... touch. It works well and never missed what I intended to press. It works like an iPhone. Picture quality, when there is adequate light, is great. As I figured the low light ain't much to write home about, but the built-in flash gets the job done. After giving to my Mother In-Law she took to it like a fish in water. She is in her late 50s and not tech oriented. Because of the intuitive touch GUI it was very easy for her to get started taking pictures. She is very happy with the image quality and ease of use. The built in IS/VR works well and the pictures she sent say as much.

This is strictly personal for retired people. It is quite easy to use, to charge and to download the reference manual. The small size and weight are wonderful, so much better than the precursor Coolpix 4300. The sharpness of the image is superb.
The price is excellent.
The advertisements in the View XN2 CD are annoying. It's far easier unless one wants to be more professional and to take many more pictures than we do to use the import availability in the computer for downloading.

I ordered Nikon Coolpix 4300 (will write a review on the camera next) late evening 4/2, the next morning I got an e-mail from B & H that the order has been shipped and expected date is 4/2 by UPS.
I tracked the order on UPS site on 4/5 but the status was updated with arrival date as 4/5, was disappointed as it was a gift to my niece, called B & H Customer care, the guy was very polite and said 'Do not worry abt the status on UPS but you will receive end of day today'. Surprise!! Got it on time on the day expected….
B & H has a wonderful tool that compares multiple cameras (or other products on sale) across brands selections and features, an amazing option for newbies on camera. Nikon Coolpix 4300 simple point & shoot camera, with great picture quality and simple to handle, it LCD is wide and touchscreen that makes user to move pics/video . I just love this camera and appreciate B & H for making our day!!

I bought this camera to use in my trip to Orlando. I am not use to little cameras. I have a Canon 60d so I am used to a more professional equipment. I needed something small to take pictures in the Parks. The Coolpix S4300 is a interesting camera because it has a easy interface, is very small and has a very good price. But it takes too long to capture an image, is difficult to focus in what you want and don't have a night picture module. The only way to take picture in the dark is changing to a more sensitive ISO. And it can take a while to make any changes in the flash module or even in the ISO. So you can loose interesting moments while you try to find the right way to capture your image. Its a good equipment for daylight pictures.

This camera though small and lightweight appears to have great quality construction. It is easy to use and to a large degree is intuitive in its function ansd features. The included software is very useful for managing and editing your photos. The pricing is also very reasonable for value received.

Bought this as a gift for my wife to replace an older Panasonic Lumix that needed repairs. We already own a Nikon D-60 digital SLR that we use for family and professional photography, but we've always kept a digital point and shoot as a back up. This camera is by far more easy to carry, and yet has many of the features of our larger Nikon. The lens was a wider angle than the old Lumix, which will really come in handy for landscape vistas we shoot in National Parks. We were very pleased with the product, and with B&H's quick turn around and pricing. Thanks for a great online purchase experience.

This was a gift for my son. It is the second one he has had. He likes the touch screen. I hope this one lasts longer than his first one which only lasted a little over a year. It takes very nice pictures and it's compact size fits in his pocket so he is, I can't actually say NEVER, but never without his camera.

I received my camera on 12/24/12 and had it charged and ready for use on Christmas Day. It was incredibly easy to set up and use right out of the box. I took dozens of photos and they all came out beautifully! The 16mp resolution and 6x optical zoom in such a small package is nothing short of a miracle! The easy to use menus, the touchscreen, and the optical VR image stabilization system makes it virtually impossible to take a bad photo. All of my family were extremely impressed with the photo quality contained in such a small camera and everyone wanted to know what type of camera this little miracle was! My primary reason for purchasing this camera was due to my absolute disgust with my cellphone camera. This camera is the same size as my cellphone and fits in my pocket making it possible for me to take high quality photographs on the go. The Nikon Coolpix S4300 has exceeded my expectations and goes with me everywhere I go.

Customer service was better than any place I have been. Showed me the benefits and ease of use of this camera. Started using that night after charging time. Took great pics, not one bad shot out of approximately 700 pics.I have owned at least a dozen cameras and this one is by far the best for easy vacation pictures!!!!

I got this for my mother and father in-law. My Wife wanted to get them a camera that was easy to use, had a fast shutter, and a bit of zoom with good quality all for under [$] (@ time of purchase was marked down to [$]). I took delivery of the camera and did the initial inspection. Everything was as described. I added in a 8GB SD card. It's really thinner in the hand then I thought it was be. It's fast enough from pushing the on button to ready to take a picture. My Wife, whom is fairly adept at technology but low on patience had no issue with the speed of the camera when booting up or taking a picture. The touchscreen function (which I somehow missed in the spec sheet) was a nice... touch. It works well and never missed what I intended to press. It works like an iPhone. Picture quality, when there is adequate light, is great. As I figured the low light ain't much to write home about, but the built-in flash gets the job done. After giving to my Mother In-Law she took to it like a fish in water. She is in her late 50s and not tech oriented. Because of the intuitive touch GUI it was very easy for her to get started taking pictures. She is very happy with the image quality and ease of use. The built in IS/VR works well and the pictures she sent say as much.

This is strictly personal for retired people. It is quite easy to use, to charge and to download the reference manual. The small size and weight are wonderful, so much better than the precursor Coolpix 4300. The sharpness of the image is superb.
The price is excellent.
The advertisements in the View XN2 CD are annoying. It's far easier unless one wants to be more professional and to take many more pictures than we do to use the import availability in the computer for downloading.
