The Canon PowerShot ELPH 530 HS Digital Camera (White) is a fashionably slender and compact digital camera, measuring only 0.8" thick, but all business on the inside. Functional and intuitive design surround the Canon HS System; the perfect pairing between a high-sensitivity 10.1MP CMOS sensor and the speedy DIGIC 5 Image Processor. The sensor and the image processor together deliver amazing low-light performance. The 28mm wide angle lens with 12x optical zoom is further aided by a sophisticated Optical Image Stabilizer which automatically chooses from six different modes to give you the best image stabilization for whatever shooting situation you're facing.
An improved Smart AUTO feature further assists by selecting proper camera settings based on a wide range of 58 predefined shooting situations. A Face ID function also helps to capture the perfect exposure and focus for portraiture using a series of pre-registered faces. Smooth Skin and Soft Focus scene modes continue to develop portraiture by helping to diminish blemishes and adding a smoothing glow to your subjects.
In addition to still image performance, full HD 1080p video is supported along with stereo sound, a dedicated movie button, and playback on an HDTV via the HDMI output.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 530 HS Digital Camera (Black):
I ordered this for work for our department - this was referred to us by a photographer. We wanted something that would take clear, crisp images of small images. This is small and compact as well as easy to use and great picture quality.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 530 HS Digital Camera (White):
The camera was good overall, but. The touch screen sensibility is very low. I tried very hard just. On. Setting up the date and time for the camera because the touchscreen did not sense well on where I was touch. But the overall quality is good. I would recommend it to a friend.

This is a camera that you can have in your poket all the time. The touch screen is a great feature. You can see your pictures like you were using a tablet.
Is a friendly camera smart enough to take good pictures in almost any condition.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 530 HS Digital Camera (Black):
I have few Canon cameras, 7D is big not so convenient in carrying with you all the time. Ixus 65 is very good, but can't compare with this one. it's very good for video as well. the only short coming is the battery is too smaller and won't last as long as the Ixus 65. when you sell this products if can provide one spare battery, then I don't need to worry running short of battery.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 530 HS Digital Camera (White):
I am a semi pro photographer that bought this for when I don't feel like carrying an SLR.. like on vacation. I already have a Canon Vixia HF20 to carry around, but stills on it only run 3mp. Its a good little camera with LOTs of features... so if you are just going to point and shoot, buy a less expensive camera.
Pros: Lots of function, WiFi transfers work great
Cons: The touch screen requires way too much pressure to make it work.... which kind of makes the "Touch to shoot" option useless. Lots of function - for those wanting a simple camera this is going to create confusion. It gets REAL grainy at the max zoom - at least for me.
