The PowerShot ELPH 320 HS Digital Camera (Red) from Canon allows you to capture and share your photos and videos immediately, without having to go home or plug into a computer. Shooting large 16.1 megapixel resolution images using the 35mm equivalent of a 24-120mm lens, it also employs advanced image stabilization technologies and techniques to ensure your HD videos aren't shaky and your photos aren't blurry. This allows you to capture clearer, truer images without unwanted blur or camera shake.
With its 16.1 megapixel image sensor this little camera is still able to capture poster-sized images at a maximum 4608 x 3456 resolution. This gives you the flexibility to enlarge or crop your image for printing or sharing online. The DIGIC 5 Image Processor powers all of the camera's advanced systems and features - ensuring you get fast, reliable performance with low battery consumption.
In addition to the speed of shooting, Intelligent IS uses multiple stabilization techniques to deliver sharper and clearer images to your camera and memory card. Using multiple types of image stabilization, the camera selects the best and most appropriate method to capture your photo or video without any distracting camera shake.
This PowerShot also doubles as a Full HD 1080p camcorder that fits in your pocket. Capture more than a snapshot of your memories by recording all of them in outstanding Full HD quality. With the video capabilities, as well as the dozens of photography features, it is a feature-packed camera that likely takes up same amount of space as your cell phone.
Once you've captured your photos and videos you can share them immediately using any 802.11 b/g/n wireless network connection. Simply connect the camera to the network, choose your photos, and send them to any social networking site or email address that you would like.

It is smaller than my Droid cell phone and is definitely a shirt pocket camera. I never leave homewithout it. The 24mm lens is very useful. I am not a big fan of touch screens but can live with it.The 16 megs mathes the sensor. I have some excellent DSLRs, but they are not always with me due to size and weight. You might surprised at how useful having a camera with you can be, even for mundane tasks such as photographing books in a bookstore to see whether I can get a better price at @. Or when you see a restored vintage car in a parking lot. Or snapping a menu i a restaurant. It is close to perfect in the applications I use it for. I also own the Elph 310 whichhas nore zoom, 28-224mm, also a great shirt pocket camera.

Power Shot 320 is a very slim body camera. You can put it in your pant pocket. It has a big touch screen LCD, but it just too slow and you have to press hard. I feel camera use cheap material, it does not have the strong build structure feel. It is a good price for a 16.1MP camera and has a lot good features. I love Canon products. I had a 50D and 7D before and now I'm using 5D Mark II for party and special, also just order a S100 for $350 to replace my 320HS. Look forward to play with my S100 cause I heard it's good for low light and in door.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 320 HS Digital Camera (Black):
I have not found anything I don't like about this camera. I wasn't sure how I would like the touch screen, but it actually makes it easier to use, because it has the ability to have a dynamic menu. I have never been a great photographer, but this is super easy to use for me and the pics look great. My husband, who knows all about film cameras, also loves using it. Lots of cool effects, love the toy camera effect and love the low-light hand held setting. Battery life could be a little better. But it's a great price.

This is the 1st Canon i ever bought to replace my old Sony, I' m going to use it for my traveling.
The price is low with all the features it has, very light and pretty color.
Three things I am not impressed are touch screen is way too slow compared to Sony, and also they should improve low light feature as well. Lastly you gotta take more steps to delete a picture (the delete icon is not on display).
Anyhow, you get what you paid. This is not a bad product in general.

I am a point and shoot photographer, I don't like to mess with the settings but I do like to set up my shot and get something good. This camera is so user friendly, I love the touch screen controls, especially being able to touch where I want it to focus and having that point be followed and metered to. Great macro pictures. So far, no complaints.

Comments about PowerShot ELPH 320 HS Digital Camera (Blue):
I bought this camera for my wife to use as her go-to camera for 80% of the pictures she takes. The other 20% is split between the camera on her phone (bad pictures, but handy) and our DSLR. I want her to use the DSLR for everything, but I lost that battle. It's too big and clunky. Anyway, I can't believe how small this thing is, even after looking at the dimensions. Once you get it in your hands, it's tiny. There are only a couple of buttons, everything else is accessed through the touchscreen. The touchscreen is okay. It's not as good as an iphone, but it's better than some older technology that I've used. I wasn't really impressed by the touchscreen, so I had a Mechanical Engineer, an IT guy, and my wife all tell me I was being too picky. So, 3/4 say it's fine. Pictures are fast, facial recognition is cool. You can tap the screen to "follow" an object, so when you move the camera, it will try to use that point to focus. I would recommend getting a screen protector, as you would with almost all touch screen devices. When this is set down, it feels most natural to set it down right on the touch screen. The bottom is too tipy, and setting it on the retracted lens seems weird.

I bought this camera for my sister, who has a good eye for photography but is not very technical. After giving her a tutorial on it, I found the image quality to be very impressive. Super sharp photos and a relatively fast shutter. The touch screen isn't quite as responsive as say an iPhone or Android, but it's not terrible. I haven't tried the video feature yet.

Purchased this camera to replace an SD780 IS digital ELPH camera I gave to my husband 2 years ago. Great camera & he loves it but over time wished it had more zoom & a wider angle. This camera should give him what he is looking for, a great camera that fits in his pocket with all the features that produce a great picture. Can't wait to see the big smile on his face Christmas morning.
B & H is the best place to buy a camera. Good sales & service along with great pricing.

=====> The one thing she did not like was that on auto (her default setting)the flash could not be set to 'always on' just fully auto or off.
There are two settings at the top of the camera, "A" and "P" The "P" setting stands for program auto, and in this setting the user has full control over flash settings and can set the flash as desired.
