The black CF-DC4 Semi-Soft Case from Nikon fits the Nikon D800 and 800E cameras. It is made from 100% leather and features a snap closure. It is compatible with the AFS 35mm f/1.4G, 50mm f/1.8G, 50mm f/1.4G, 85mm f/1.8G and Micro-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G lenses. It is held using the strap that is supplied with your D800/E DSLR camera.

Easy to access your camera D800 OR D7000 AND smaller ones with following lenses attached:
14-24mm f/2.8G
24mm f/1.4G
50mm f/1.4G
85mm f/1.4G
Not good if you are planning on using this for such camera types with 24-70mm f/2.8 or larger lens. I had to return mine as I needed it to carry with 24-70mm f/2.8.
Other then this nicely made and of good quality leather; Not really convinient as once your camera is out of the case you need place to put the case since it doesn't have a strap of its own. To store your camera this would work with the lenses mentioned above.

This case works well with my Nikon D800 camera. Provides quick and easy access to the camera while providing protection from normal knocks and dings. Appears to be made from good quality black leather. It has enough space in the nose to accommodate a 50 mm lens and hood.

THE D800 WITH THE 24-70MM LENS DOSE NOT FIT IN THIS CASE.
THE CASE FALLS TO THE GROUND BECAUSE THE SNAP UNSNAPS ITSELF WHEN YOU ARE "MOVING AROUND" TAKING PHOTOS AND VIDEO, WHEN THE STRAP TO THE CAMERA IS THROUGH THE SNAPPED-SNAP ON THE CF-DC4 Semi-Soft Case (Black) by Nikon.
