Comments about Vanguard Alta+ 233AP Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head:
This is a solid tripod. I was looking for something that would be tall enough without having to extend the center post, and this fits the bill. Also, I was looking for something that would be sturdy, yet not too heavy. Check! I use this tripod for night shooting, and I spend a lot of time hiking and shooting. This gives me great stability
Additionally, I like that I have three separate controls for the head, and each one works independently of the others.
Bottom line: I've had really great success with this tripod and would buy it again!
I'm wondering why I waited so long to buy it!
