International Orders*The Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope from Nikon delivers a capacious magnification spread with a very high zoom power of 20-60x. Initial scanning is already magnified to 20x but then the zooming in to the fine detail continues to an intense 60x for observing the intricacies of the chosen object. That's on the ocular side. On the objective side is an immense 82mm of light gathering ability that puts observation into the low light situations of dawn, dusk and overcast days when the nocturnal creatures are more apt to start showing themselves. The scope is made for outdoor conditions. Waterproof to 3.3 feet for up to 10 minutes it is fully o-ring sealed, and purged with nitrogen to ensure all-weather performance. BAK4 multicoated optics assures optimal high contrast seeing with superb brightness and color fidelity. The angled eyepiece allows longer stress free viewing sessions with a more comfortable view of targets near the zenith. There is a built-in sliding sunshade for protection from excessive glare or rain drops on the objective. Backed up by Nikon's "No-Fault" repair/replacement 25-year warranty; regardless of what happens to the scope-even from negligence - Nikon will repair or replace (at their option) this extremely well built and durable spotting scope.
Note! Covered by Nikon's 25-year no-fault repair/replacement policy

Comments about Nikon Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing):
Like all Nikon optics they are better than average for what you pay, I like my 20x60x82 works great in low light that's what I was looking for. The field of vision on high power is a little small at 300 yards but at longer distances like 1 to 2 thousand yards its good.the eye relief takes a little getting use to on the higher power and the focus knob is in a good place and works well.

Comments about Nikon Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing):
I live about a two miles away from my surf break and was looking for something better than my shaky binoculars to check the conditions. While not exactly designed for this, it works beautifully, the clarity is not perfect at this range but it is pretty dang good. Looks straight into the barrel and I can actually recognize people I know. For birding or checking detail in anything at much closer ranges, the clarity is amazing. You can even read handwritten notes in peoples cars parked across the street. Stoked!

Comments about Nikon Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing):
I expected to spend a lot more money on a scope than this great deal. I was very pleased when I got it set up and took a look at the crystal sharp image. This scope can focus fairly close. I can focus on birds at my bird feeders from my bedroom window. The zoom function is a not always effective as sometimes the object goes out of focus. The field of view becomes smaller when you zoom. But other than that the scope is easy to set up, focus and see some amazing detail.

Comments about Nikon Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing):
We bought this scope for birding and have loved how light it is. Good glass and easy to use. I'd only wish it came with a bag rather than the always-on harness. It doesn't provide enough protection IMHO.

Comments about Nikon Prostaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing):
I use this scope for birding. The optics are clear and the scope lets in plenty of light. The zoom function is very nice. However, the scope is difficult to focus - the focus knob is very sensitive - maybe too sensitive. I seem to be constanly "over correcting". Maybe more practice with the scope will smooth out my focusing issues.

I am very pleased with this scope. While using this product for birding, the targeted birds are seen clearly and more vivid. It's really nice.
