The Panasonic WV-CP314 Fixed Day/Night Color Camera (IR Filter, Dual Voltage) is packed with advanced features such as adaptive black stretch, superior color reproduction, lens distortion compensation, and auto-image stabilization. Equipped with a 1/3" interline transfer CCD image sensor, the camera delivers clear and crisp images at 650 TVL.
The WV-CP314 camera offers a sensitivity of 0.08 lux (color and B/W modes) at F/1.4. With the camera's day & night switching and 16-axis matrix color compensation, you can be assured of excellent image reproduction with natural color balance. During nighttime surveillance, the camera's Adaptive Black Stretch feature transforms dark areas of the video footage into crisp images like those seen by the human eye. Also included is an automatic IR cut filter that removes unwanted IR light delivering true-to-life color images. Even when used outdoors, the camera delivers blur-free images thanks to the auto-image stabilizer that eliminates the effect of vibration caused by wind.
The Auto Back Focus feature in this camera reduces the time taken to focus the camera lens after installation. In addition, it automatically focuses the CCD lens when it switches from color to B/W mode. Enabled with Adaptive Digital Noise Reduction (2D-DNR and 3D-DNR), the camera delivers clear images by removing signals that could result in video noise (grainy images).

Comments about Panasonic WV-CP314 Fixed Day/Night Color Box Camera (IR Filter, Dual Voltage):
i returned the camera as i thought it was defective.
the wiring that i have leading from the power supply is belden 8461 and it was too heavy of a wire gauge to connect to the microscopic wiring terminals on the camera so i spliced some smaller wire to the belden with amp connectors and connected the smaller wire to the camera and got no image.
so i thought the camera was defective but the real reason i got no image was the splicing was not passing power to the camera
the camera has no power on light.if there was a power light then i would have known there was a wiring problem.i do not recommend this camera as the wiring terminals on the camera are ridicicoulesly small and difficult to connect.
i have a canopus analog to digital converter and my intention was to use the wv-cp314 for a webcam.
i am going to order another camera from b&h that operates on 120 ac
