Comments about Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station:
This product has these devices hooked up to it working well:1 audio cable1-3 USB 2.0 and 3.0 USB removable hard drives1 wireless receiver for wireless mouse and keyboardThe only thing I can not get working correctly is the VGA out (HDMI works). My laptop supports 1600x900. If I use the dongle directly I can get VGA out at 1920x1080 however when I use the dock, it only allows VGA out at 1600x900 which the TV does not support directly so I have to settle for a lower resolution which looks terrible - or directly connect VGA to the monitor bypassing the dock which is not what I wanted to do.

Comments about Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station:
even though this did not work for me I still give it three stars. I tried to use a thunderbolt to express card reader and a usb 3.0 express card to make this work with my macbook pro but it did not. it was not misleading. I didn't fully expect it to work. although the display functionality did not work, the usb hub functionality did work. I have no doubt that with the right set up ( a PC) it world work wonders.

Comments about Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station:
The only less-than-perfect aspect to this docking station is probably due to unrealistic expectations on my part. Long ago I had a docking station that would allow the laptop's cover to remain closed while connected to the dock, and I expected this to work the same. However, unlike the dock "of old," the new dock does not connect to the laptop via the electrical connector on the underside of the computer, but instead connects via USB, so the laptop must be used with the screen open. Other than this, the unit was easy to configure, and works as advertised.

Comments about Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station:
The docking station was easy to install and get operational; just inserted the CD, ran the installation program, then connected the USB port...operational!
I have found with daily usage several issues with the 1GB network port, which is the primary reason I purchased it. (1) The port will just stop working, windows says the cable is disconnected - the only way I have found to correct the problem is to unplug and then plug back in - this usually happens after high network usage, (2) The network port will change from 1GB to 10MB. I have not found a pattern for this behavior, but unplugging the network cable and plugging back in seems to fix the problem.
I would have to give this docking station an 'okay' rating and it would be hard for me to recommend until the networking issue is resolved. The dual video works great and the USB ports have been flawless.

I use this model of docking station at work and like it enough to buy one for home. I went the extra step and loaded the software and find the extended desktop a real plus. All its features live up to its promises.

Comments about Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station:
This compact little docking station would be perfect--if only it had a power on/off button. Unfortunately, the device doesn't accomodate the laptop's power cord; it'd be much more convenient to turn the system on by pressing a single button on the docking station than opening up the laptop.

No problems installing. No functional issues. I'm running 4 pieces of outboard audio gear for a home studio on it, along with digital video, and the unit functions without trouble. No latency issues, no errors, etc. Would recommend item to anyone looking for a USB 3.0 hub.
