Comments about WindGuide Anemometer - Yellow:

First unit I received was dead on arrival, and I had to return it. Fortunately B&H made the process easy. Second unit arrived and works okay. I am using it to make HVAC duct airspeed measurements and it seems to give pretty reproducible data. The anemometer won't self start below about 200 ft/min (2.3 mph) airspeed, but you can get it going by blowing on it. I have no idea how accurate the unit is, but I am using it for relative measurements anyway. The unit seems reasonably well constructed, though a bit toy-like.

My husband took the Anemometer to work. He works up on high towers and the wind is stronger on top than it is on the ground. His coworkers enjoy the new "toy" too. Very Happy customers.
