Plantronics H-series headsets are equipped with a proprietary, 4-pin QD (Quick Disconnect) connector traditionally designed for desk phone operation. Comments about Plantronics DA40 USB Headset Adapter:
This is an excellent addition for any existing Plantronics headset user. The same sound quality that you would expect from the hard-wired set that goes directly into your phone, you get out of this. The quick disconnect works great, the length is sufficient to wind it around where I want it. Just thinking about improvements, it would be good if it had a coiled cable section like its phone counterpart and maybe a volume adjustment button on the plastic part that houses the electronics, but those would be icing on the case.
