The DA40 USB Headset Adapter by Plantronics converts any H-Series headset, including the latest wideband models to USB. Plantronics H-series headsets are equipped with a proprietary, 4-pin QD (Quick Disconnect) connector traditionally designed for desk phone operation. The DA40 now makes it possible to use these QD equipped headsets with almost any computer and VOIP (Voice over IP) applications. This helps contact centers and other businesses leverage their existing investments saving both time and money.

This is an excellent addition for any existing Plantronics headset user. The same sound quality that you would expect from the hard-wired set that goes directly into your phone, you get out of this. The quick disconnect works great, the length is sufficient to wind it around where I want it. Just thinking about improvements, it would be good if it had a coiled cable section like its phone counterpart and maybe a volume adjustment button on the plastic part that houses the electronics, but those would be icing on the case.
