The USB Mix 3-Channel Mixer and Computer Audio Interface from ART is a compact and versatile mini mixer, ideal for home or mobile studios. It is also a computer interface that will convert analog input signals into digital USB signals that can be sent to your computer. The mixer has an XLR/TRS combo input that can be switched for mic or line use. It will even supply +48V phantom power to support condenser microphones. There are balanced 1/4" line inputs that accept stereo or mono sources. There are also 1/4" main outputs and a 1/4" headphone jack for convenient monitoring.
Independent gain and level controls are provided for each input, the main output, and the headphone output. The mixer has a USB 2.0 output that will send your audio to your computer for recording and editing. You can even switch USB playback to channels 2 and 3 for additional versatility. Audacity recording software is included so you can get started right away. When used with a computer, the mixer operates via USB bus power. When used without a computer, it is powered with the included AC adapter. A green/red LED shows signal and clip status.

Comments about ART USB Mix 3-Channel Mixer and Computer Audio Interface:
Quality hardware, full metal case and connectors. POTs have a good consistent feel. I was already familiar with Audacity so this was another plus. My WIN7Pro laptop detected it and installation was a breeze.

Comments about ART USB Mix 3-Channel Mixer and Computer Audio Interface:
I recently did a webcast and needed to take a line feed from the mixer and attach it to an audio stream being generated with an application on my laptop. This mixer gave me the control I needed to ensure good sound quality. The one thing that isn't so great about it is that you can't easily reconfigure your systems sound devices once the mixer is disconnected.
