At just about the size of a CD case, the P1 Ultra-Light HD Portable LED Projector from ASUS packs a lot of functionality into such a petite package. This high-powered imaging engine is capable of producing up to 1280 x 800 HD visual quality with an output of 200 lumens and contrast ratio of 2000:1.
It should be mentioned that the P1 employs an LED light source, which can last for up to 30,000 hours. That means you can make a lot of presentations in the boardroom or classroom between the time you buy it and the time when you need to swap out the bulb.
Additionally, this projector comes with a few conveniences to make presenting a breeze. It has a 5-second on/instant off functionality with no cool-down period. You'll benefit from auto keystone correction and instant height adjustment thanks to a flip-down stand. And when you've turned the P1 off and you're finished presenting, simply put it into its carrying case to take it along to your next destination.

- This feature detects the P1's orientation and automatically corrects distorted trapezoid images that result from an angled projection. This saves you time and hassle of having to manually adjust your image
- Short-Throw Projection
- Short throw ratio of 1.16:1 lets you enjoy HD projections with a 40" display from one meter away from the screen. This size allows you to see an 8-point font clearly from this distance
- Instant Height Adjustment
- A flip-down stand can be adjusted to suit the task at hand. Since you won't have to deal with an adjustable screw-down stand, this should save you valuable set up time
- One Power Adapter for Business Combo
- This projector works with most ASUS notebook AC adapters (equal to or less than 65 watts); so your ASUS notebook and projector can share a power adapter for ideal business presentations

Use for movies. It's work fine for small home cinima. 200 lumines for dark room more then enough! If u wotch your movie true the PC/laptop it perfect for you. But for presentation 200lum. it's not good.

This thing is much smaller and lighter that I thought it would be. It is exactly what I needed and I can just slip it into my computer bag and always have it.
Will it light up a room? No, but for a small conference room or office it is much nicer than looking over someone's shoulder at the computer screen. It is bright enough that in having this and a very small P/A system, I can go on even if there is an AV failure at the location.
