I use this GPS for scouting and bow hunting.
You dont have to be moving to get the direction from the arrow to go, so no bumping into trees in the dark looking for the arrow to work like my gps. I could go on all day about the goods on this gps. The only negative about this gps is sometimes it takes a while to lock in on the satalights, so be patient this little thing packs a big punch for the money.

As professional photographers specializing in outdoor photography (landscape and wildlife), we were looking for a GPS device that allows us to give the GPS coordinates to save in our EXIF data and to help us to find back our path in forest ou remote aeras. We did not want to use the GPS fixed on the flash shoe of the camera because we use a wireless remote control. The HuntTrack is fast to find the satellites (few seconds), very reliable. The software is very sophisiecated when using Google Map. We recommend to have the small brochure at the beginning because we were a little bit confused in the sequence. After few trips, it was very easy.So a very simple, reliable GPS device to find your way back, to keep tracks of the trips and to get the GPS information.

Bought 2 of these GPS's ,one for me and the other for my pastor that I hunt and fish with.We have compared each to see if they had the same readings and how accurate they seem to be. We both are very satisfied with the results.They are simple to use and can do everything we needed them to. I have an older GPS that is so complicated to use it's almost useless.This is just what I was looking for and the price was excellent for what you get. Bushnell productes have always been a great value for me and this is no exception.Only complaint would be the instructions could be a little better written.

This unit is awewsome. You can use the free app and mark a spot on it and it will be on your GPS. This way you can look at the aerial map and look for areas to scout, etc. Just mark it on the map and then turn on your GPS and select the icon that you just placed on the map. It has temperature, altitude, moon phase, game activity, etc. The only thing I would change is that you get 5 set markings for camp,vehicle,treestand,tree,game sign. Then the other 20 markings are numeric only. So you will have to track which number corresponds to which spot somewhere else. There should be a way to enter a short descrition or something to better keep up with those else you have no idea one from another.

I love hunting but I always have a tendency of getting missed placed so I dread going to my treestand and heading back to my starting location. With the HuntTrack GPS Compass I fear the woods no longer. It brings me exactly to my treestand in the dark and I can navigate back to my starting point. It is worth every penny.Last week I had to track a wounded animal and it lead me into an area that I never had been before and with this compass after locating the animal I was able to navigate to my starting point.I can't say enough about this product.
