By combining high-performance with low-cost ownership and maintenance, the router can also help service providers monetize broadband networks while improving efficiency and reducing costs all at the same time. The router includes such advanced features as ADSL2+ support, IPv4 and IPv6 compatibility, as well as access to the modem's functions and protocols via local or remote portals, including a WebUI manager that can be used by your browser to make and save changes.

At just 4.4" long and 3.4" wide this little modem is an ideal mixture of advanced networking, powerful security features, and simple easy-to-use installation that most homes could really benefit from now, and into the future of web connectivity.

Security
The 3360's advanced security options include, full routing capabilities, DoS and firewall protection, as well as remote and local device management--providing access to its features wherever you are
Advanced and Efficient
Its embedded firmware enables the delivery of advanced IP services, with high levels of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction--not to mention low operational and support costs for the service provider as well
Auto-Detection
The 3360 was designed to support advanced features such as IPv6 / 6RD and ATM / PTM auto-detection, and its unique capability to auto-detect the network type simplifies logistics, as one modem will work on both network transport types
Simplified Input
With that auto-detection of PTM network support for 802.1x, WAN supplicant simplifies authentication of the CPE to the service provider network. This eliminates the need for you to enter in PPP credentials each time, which is great if you don't have them at hand or memorized

Comments about Motorola 3360 AT&T DSL Modem:

I need a replacement for my AT&T modem due to the current one over heating. I read the review on this one and for just over $ it was worth the try. B&H deliver the product well ahead of when I expected it and good thing they did because mine died. The thing was setup in mins, and the footprint is super small. I will note I did have to give a AT&T a quick call to input the router data into their system which took a couple of mins. After a week or so I can say I am completely happy with this modem's capability and I would go as far as saying this modem has improved my surfing speed. I would recommend this modem to anyone needing a replacement.

Comments about Motorola 3360 AT&T DSL Modem:

Product purchased to replace Motorola Model 2210 wired DSL modem which, after about five years of heavy use, had started to overheat and drop internet connection. Model 3360 is At&T/Motorola's standard replacement for model 2210. So far, after a month, this reasonably priced model provides quick and reliable uninterrupted internet access. Time will tell as to its long term durability.

Comments about Motorola 3360 AT&T DSL Modem:

The 3360 is a direct one for one replacemet for my previous Motorola 2210 unit. Installation was a non issue - pug it in and follow the wizard. The unit has much improved cooling vents over the 2210 unit. (My 2210 unit has an over heat failure mode due to what appears to be a poor cooling design.) So far the 3360 unit has performed up to spec w/o any concerns and runs cooler.

Comments about Motorola 3360 AT&T DSL Modem:

The previous Motorola modem operated warm to the touch while the Motorola 3360 operates cooler, so I hope this adds to the 3360's life.

When activating the 3360 one gets all the changes from AT&T which modifies one's starting internet page and one had to change things back to what one had before. That is an annoyance.

The Motorola 3360 modem is the least expensive choice given by AT&T to accomodate the change from IPv4 to IPv6 protocol (the change in number of internet sites accomodated). And B&H is a low cost supplier.

Comments about Motorola 3360 AT&T DSL Modem:

I have had the modem for two weeks and it has functioned well with my AT&T internet account. The only issue I had was with the internet connection (LED) disconnecting overnight. If you leave the modem on 24/7 the factory default setting in the modem will cause it to timeout and disconnect from the internet. You will need to enter the modem's "Connection Configuration" settings and change the connection type from "Connect on demand" to "Smart keep alive". This will guarantee that you will have access to the internet after you boot your computer each time.
