With HD 1080p resolution and Triple XD engine, the 50PA6500 50" Plasma 1080p TV from LG Electronics lets you truly show off any source material, be it Blu-ray movies, broadcast and cable TV, or video games. LG's proprietary technologies also ensure that whatever you're watching comes across in rich, detailed color. The 50PA6500 TV's high contrast ratio and intelligent sensor mode makes the unit capable of being the centerpiece in any home entertainment system.
The 50PA6500 includes three HDMI and two component inputs for high-definition devices and a PC input which lets you use the set as a computer monitor. The USB 2.0 input allows you to display photo slideshows and share MP3 audio files with your friends.
In addition, the built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners receive virtually all available local digital and analog programs. Not only does the 50PA6500 50" plasma TV looks good when you turn it on, but its glossy cabinet complements any decor.

This is a great plasma TV. It's my first TV purchase but it looks fantastic when watching movies, playing Xbox, etc, and it's bright, has good colors, and is a pleasure to use. I only use one HDMI input for my receiver, so I can't say much about connectivity. It's a heavy TV, like all plasmas, but I really like it.

My first real HD plasma big screen, bought it because it was a Consumer Reports "Best Buy", Got an unbelievable price including shipping from B & H. Great picture, easy to use, I understand it doesn't do 3-D, but I don't care. Had an issue with glare at first, but pretty sure it was due to amount of glass in my den. I adjusted some of the picture attributes and it got a lot better.

I've had this product a couple weeks now and I love it. It's surprisingly thin, and the colors jump out, the blacks are deep, and it's just overall awesome. I didn't go smart or 3d because.. well I don't really need those things. This TV is awesome for the price and looks great. Really ties the room together. I recommend this for anyone getting their first big TV,... it's mine and I giggled like a girl when it was being taken out of the box.

Picture quality is great.
It has USB vide/audio/photo player capabilities and a lot of inputs including the disapearing vga port for pc.
It's thin and light.
Perfect in one word.
Only drawback so far is the glossy screen but i actually like this better.
