LG's BP620 3D Blu-ray Disc Player is a great way to take advantage of the ultra-high resolution available on HDTVs, since it offers full HD 1080p resolution. Of course, it will play your Blu-ray 3D and 2D discs, so you can enjoy all the latest Hollywood flicks from the comfort of your couch. And when you pop in a DVD, you can see it in near-HD quality since the player allows upscaling to full HD 1080p.
You can also download an app to your iOs/Android smart phone that allows you to cut out the old standby remote -- just kick back and use your phone to control your media rather than searching around on the coffee table for the controller.

I have not used the internet connectivity feature thus far. Everything else seems just fine. This is our first blueray player and we will get our first blueray dvd in a couple of days. Once we have checked out all the features we will upgrade our review accordingly.We live out in the 'boonies".so this is a necessity for entertainment.
PS: The upgrading of the regular dvds is very noticeable.

Pros: Video quality, Netflix steaming.Cons:1) Remote control buttons and functions are poorly organized.2) On-screen navigation cumbersome. eg: Can't move Premium selections (eg Netflix) to Favorites.3) Does not have option to downmix discs encoded with DTS audio tracks.If you try to play a disc with only a DTS soundtrack and your A/V receiver has Dolby 5.1 Digital but not DTS decoder, you will get no audio.Apparently all LG players suffer from this limitation.The Sony Blu-Ray players have a optional "DTS Downmix" setting to accommodate this.

I really liked the product quality, perfect picture, easy controls and easy installation. I'm using in my house almost every day, great for movies and also for the pictures I took in NYC.
