I purchased this card for my Nikon D800. The card was on sale and I needed a high capacity card that holds a decent amount of RAW files. I shoot 14bit uncompressed so the files are quite large. (Approx. 75MB)
The item arrived very quickly in a well packaged container. This card is well built and the quality from Lexar is top notch.
I do mostly portrait work and this card performs extremely well for that use. I found that I reached the cards potential when I tried capturing any face paced action. The card would capture about 5 or 6 shots but it would take about 30 secs to write to the card. That eats up your buffer extremely fast. Might be borderline for weddings photography if you require burst shooting. You would require a 1000X with the high read/write speed.
Great card and holds 801 uncompressed RAW files.
I would buy it again if need be!

I am loving this card. I am using it in my mark 2 while I shoot high raw images. Went to a basketball game and shot 1000 photographs and the card was not at half full. I am assuming I can get about 2000 photographs on this card at high raw setting. Would recommend this card to anyone.

I used always the Nikon D3 Camera with a 32GB CompactFlash 400x by lexar. Now with the D800 and it's large files, the 32GB memory isn't enough. Now, with this Card, i can Shoot About 800 14-BIT uncompressed RAW Files

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 400x UDMA:
I have been using Lexar memory cards for a few years now and have found them to be totally reliable and offering great performance at a reasonable price. When I ugraded my DSLR to the Nikon D800, I wanted a card that would offer uninterrupted shooting when swapping memory cards would mean missing some critical actions shots (i.e., sports, weddings, wildlife). The Lexar 64GB (400x) UDMA7 compact flash card allows me to shoot approximately 800 uncompressed 14bit RAW NEF images without missing a beat. While the material covering the flat surface of Lexar cards flexes a little (compared to other brands)I have never had an issue with durability.

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 400x UDMA:
I've been using Sandisk extreme series since shooting digtal for the last seven years with various cameras. As my camera files sizes grew, I'm now needing 32 and 64 gig cards. I've had a great relationship with Sandisk because I've never, ever (knock on wood) had an issue but when it came time to buy 64 gigs, this one was a much better deal. I've heard that one can't go wrong with either brand so I decdided to get my first Lexar. I've only had it a few weeks at the time I'm writing this but it's working out just fine for me. My 5D3 seems to like it just fine and I've got more than enough room for a typical wedding day and even extra room for some video if the need arises. Knock on wood, it's working well and up to speed right now so I have nothing to say against it.

I was concerned spending what I did on this little storage device. But I soon learned that it may be small, but it's mighty. Excellent speeds when both capturing video and offloading to my Mac. The Lexar brand assures me of quality and durability. I needed something that I could copy video files quickly and easily, and I found it! I filmed for about 6 hours and only used 25% of the capacity of the card! Then it took only about 30 minutes to copy the files to my Mac. The days of capturing video are OVER!!

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 400x UDMA:
I bought this card for use with my D800 and am very satisfied overall. This 64Gb 400x card offers a great cost/performance ratio -- much cheaper per Gb than the 128Gb version and only slightly slower writing to the buffer than the 1000x version. I use this CF card for storing NEF (RAW) files together with a 32Gb SDHC UHS-i card for storing JPEGs -- a good combination that is fully supported on the D800 and I highly recommend it.

I use this with the D800 (along with a 64GB SD 400x as well). The capacity is perfect for travel. With the file demands of the D800, 64GBx2 is perfect for several days of travel shots (90% shot with JPG and 10% RAW). Fast enough for my type of shooting. Have yet to test its limits, but thus far, have been exceptional!

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 400x UDMA:
It is nice to buy something and have it work just as you had envisioned. That is the case with this card. First of all it is nice and big. My first use of the card was in a studio, shooting 10 different family portraits in the span of a couple of hours. I was working quickly, but not once did I fill the buffer in my Canon 5DM3. My video files are larger now that I am using the new All-I codec in the camera so the storage size allows me to shoot without worry of running out of space. It is still a new card so I can talk on the test of time, but so far it has been a terrific addition to my gear.

Comments about Lexar 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 400x UDMA:
Lexar is RELIABLE. It comes with a software (or a link to use a software to be precise) to recover images in case there is damage to the card. We have never encounter this, so we don't really know what this software is about, and hope to never find out.
You need your Camera Memory to be reliable, and Lexar covers this easily.
400X might be slow for HD Video and long bursts of pictures, but for regular use (Wedding, Event) it is more than enough.
