Comments about Lexar 32GB S73 JumpDrive USB 3.0 (Orange):
Despite manufacturers and retailers advertising that USB 3.0 flash drives are backward comapatible with USB 2.0, this is not the case. I thought this drive was backward compatible but it only works in 3.0 ports. Another major brand (Transcend) 32GB 3.0 drive has the same issue. After trying both drives on two PCs and one laptop all running Win7 Professional, none worked in the 2.0 ports. I was told by an IT professional that once you get into larger capacity USB 3.0 drives, they require more power and can't get it from 2.0 ports, and the PCs will thus warn that the drive is not compatible or is unrecognized. So beware - this is a fine Lexar 3.0 drive and fast, but it will not work with USB 2.0.

Comments about Lexar 32GB S73 JumpDrive USB 3.0 (Orange):
As a photographer with a Nikon D-800 I need massive storage for images and those Lexar drives are the best I have ever had..The fact that they are USB3 makes them a lot faster than the regular ones both ways, uploading and downloading images.

Comments about Lexar 32GB S73 JumpDrive USB 3.0 (Orange):
It's a good capacity and can hold upto 7 DVD worth of data. The only thing is that it takes time to upload.
The USB 2 drives I used preciously were just incredibly slow, so I paid a little more extra to try the USB 3. It's not night and day but definity faster.
If I can save 10 minutes or more it's definitely worth it while working on deadlines.

I use this flash drive as a documents backup. It is fast and look great, but cheapy. I put it in a Pelican 1010 micro case with others flash drives to protect it.

Copying files 3.0 to 3.0 is very quick. With 2.0 compatibility, I can play the files from my DVD player's USB port. Transferring files is faster than burning a DVD & saves plastic discs. Quick shipping & delivery - even with SmartPost. And it was on sale!
