The Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC) is a great choice for a studio setup when low price, high output, low running cost and soft light are priorities. The kit comes with 3 FL-110HM fixtures which use two 55W fluorescent lamps each to give you an impressive 500W hotlight equivalent each. That's a total of 1,500W of light. The fixtures do it with minimal heat and a low power draw of only 100.6W per head. That means that you won't toast the talent while saving money both on kilowatt usage of the fixture and on AC costs that would have been needed when the hotlights you used turned your studio into a sauna. With a lamp life of about 8,000 hours the FL-110HM is practically maintenance free.
Each fixture comes with 2 lamps, a soft case, gooseneck mount and a 6.0' light stand.

Comments about Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC):
Ordering and shipping was fast and easy which for me is a big plus as I live in Canada and sometimes have problems with shipping from the U.S. I have ordered quite a few times from B&H and they have never disappointed. As for the lights themselves they were shipped very nicely in TWO boxes (one inside another) with packing in between so they arrived safe and sound and they worked right out of the box. Light yet sturdy for my video projects and above all they stay COOL which is another big plus as I have thrown away my hot lights for good since getting these. Haven;t had any problems yet *fingers crossed*.

Comments about Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC):
Came with 6 extra bulbs, which I wasn't expecting....bonus!
Throws a nice even light. Only complaint is that each light has it's own big bag and the tripods have a bag, too. For the size of the kit, the bags are a little exccesive, minor complaint.
Grab a set of Orange gels for indoor use and you are good to go with this kit.
Great value for the price.

Comments about Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC):
Not what I expected, but exactly what I needed. This kit includes daylight and tungsten bulbs. The light stands are sturdy, and the kit comes with pouches to carry the lights. I am very impressed by this cost-effective lighting kit!

Comments about Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC):
I mainly use this for talking head interviews on corporate shoots and on independent short films I make. The lights are cheaply built, however they are very light and portable as a result, and so far they've held up fine. They also produce no heat, which is another plus for lighting interviews. And you can switch out the bulbs with kinoflo bulbs and get the same light. The goose neck mounts were a concern but the lights weigh so little that they don't put too much pressure on the mount. Not dimmable, but not a big deal-a little bit of opal will bring it down and soften it.

Comments about Flolight KIT-FL-110HM3 3-Point Lighting Kit - 3000K (110-240VAC):
We got this kit specifically to light our GreenScreen. It provides plenty of even lighting for this purpose. Once they have warmed up for about 5 minutes, the light evens out nicely.
Pros:
The individual units are lightweight, and the flexible/tube arm delivers easy head placement.
The stands that come with this Kit are heavy duty and stable.
BONUS: This kit did come with both 3200k and 5600k tubes, which weren't mentioned in the description.
NOT BONUS: However, it didn't come with the slide-in diffusers that were listed in the description. (I have not yet contacted B&H regarding this missing item. )
Cons:
I would like to have had some barn doors on the short sides.
The stands are a little stiff to open and close, but I am sure will work in as I use them more.
The included bags fit the light heads well, but are not nearly as nice as say a KinoFlo. But at a quarter of the price, this isn't a huge issue for me.
Overall, these lights will suit our small/mobile studio well. Providing greenscreen lighting, in the studio and a flexible soft fill for location shoots. The price was just right for us.
