The Sony DSC-TX66 Digital Camera is an 18.2Mp point-and-shoot with a number of things going for it, including superb high definition capture. Capable of capturing 1080/60i movies with dual record of stills and movies, the TX66 is an all-in-one memory making machine. Quality features like a large 3.3" OLED touchscreen, 5x optical and 10x clear image zoom, and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens all work hard to provide you with high-quality memories that will last a lifetime.
In addition, the TX66 is a super-slim camera. It's only as thick as a single AA battery, making the TX66 an ideal companion at all times. Other features include 3D still image and 3D Sweep Panorama mode, Picture Effect, and a feature called Background Defocus for images where the subjects pops out of the scene. Brightness, color, and vividness can all be adjusted with the Photo Creativity mode, and of course face detection and Smile Shutter technologies ensure that everyone looks their best in every shot.
iSCN automatically adjusts the camera's settings by detecting 36 different scene conditions and deciding what is best for that individual shot. Natural Flash, meanwhile, corrects color balance for lifelike shots. Anti-blink, Face Priority, Red-eye Reduction, Motion Detection and more save your memories from what used to be the hazards incumbent in shooting snapshots.

I bought this to take great pictures on an upcoming holiday. I've also purchased a 32gb SDHC, the first time not using Sony memory sticks. The capacity is 4923 pictures at maximum resolution. I've used it every day and used most of the functions. The pictures are amazing and the camera has some truly useful functions. The imode accurately adjusts for each scene, and I recently discovered it is capable of detecting infants or adults in portraits. The camera is very slim and fits well in a pocket. The construction is very good.
Having been to the B&H shop in New York, I wouldn't hesitate buying from them.

I use my camera for family fun photos. The picture quality is pretty decent. Although not any better than my old camera. It is way to thin and I have small hands but the handeling is really very uncomfortable. It is taking some getting accustomed to as my pictures keep coming out with my fingers in the photo. Using the features are a bit cumbersome. I would have sent this camera back but unfortunately I registered it and the paper work says you cannot return once reistered.

Comments about Cyber-shot DSC-TX66 Digital Camera (Pink):
I'm pretty new to this camera so I don't have a lot to comment on. But I have used it a couple of times and just love the pictures it takes. They are clear and look great. The camera is very small, a bit larger than a credit card. It's fine for me, however, people with big hands might not like the delicacy of it!

Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX66 Digital Camera (White):
Picture clarity is amazing, and the responsiveness is unbelievably quick - no waiting for it to start up, setting the pic up or shutter delay. Flip the front cover down and click! The pictures are so clear and brilliant they are lifelike. Best camera I've ever had, would highly recommend.

I use this camera as my hidden camera when I want to be unobtrusive. The things that one can do with this camera are almost unbelievable. The pictures are sharp, clear and of great color. 8x!0 prints compare favorably with pics I have taken with an SLR. Movies are excellent with the only drawback being recording of zoom motor noise. The camera is capable of more things than there is room here to list.
Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX66 Digital Camera (White):
very good camera for the money.
Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX66 Digital Camera (White):
I have only used this camera for a couple of weeks. Though the comparison is somewhat unfair, I would say that this camera is almost a micro DSLR ( I won't mention any brand names). In direct comparison to my 18mp ______, the Sony TX66 held up quite well. Comparing jpegs from the TX66 and the 18mp ______, in a side-by-side test, in the same light, the Sony is only a slight loser............ And it cost about a tenth of the price. Now, I am not ready to leave my _________DSLR at home just yet, but as a backup, easily concealable, quiet, surrepticious, lightweight monster, this camera fits the bill..................
