The HyperPad 5-in-1 Stand from Ultimate Support is a super versatile way to secure your iPad 2 or new iPad. You can clamp the stand to a desktop, pole or mic stand or simply prop it up for viewing in either portrait or landscape mode. The stand allows you to adjust the angle when in portrait/landscape view so that you can comfortably see the screen. A gooseneck extension is included for the desktop clamp and microphone stand clamp for ease of use. The HyperPad is ideal for musicians, DJs, use at home or at the office or anywhere else reliable support is needed for your iPad 2 or new iPad.

- The HyperPad can also be mounted to the top of a microphone stand (5/8" thread) with the included gooseneck arm

I use this product for music. I really find it useful for anywhere I go. The only downfall that I have with this product, is that you cannot use it with the survivor iPad covers.

When using the iPad as camera the stand is a great way to hold the iPad steady. I have not found any drawbacks to the stand yet. It was well worth the investment.
