Hoped to use it filming parts being cut on CNC equipment. Works as advertised, but it is so small it is nearly impossible to operate with one hand. The buttons are too close together, and need to pressed down in a certain manner to operate.

This remote is a great accessory to my camcorder. It's small, responsive, and I love using it to control the camera while I'm playing back the videos. I haven't yet, but I look forward to using it in the recording process.

My camcorder did not have the remote included in the sale, so it is an addition. It works. Good compact size. You do not have to be in front of the camcorder for it to work. I am pleased with this.

Just what you need for those moments when the camcorder is stationary and you need some control.
Perfect when recording "how to's".
And the self portrait/video situations makes it really easy to frame and or zoom.
When you have a remote you'll find many ways to use it.
Total functionality and convienence in the palm of your hand.
Although B&H makes this option very affordable they used to be standard equipment on earlier models.
Don't buy a cheap clone remote just get the real deal here for just a few dollars more.
This unit makes your camcorder complete and ready for any situation.

Quick way to manage the camera without touching and shaking the camera for nature videos. Would be nice if Canon made it wifi or usable from behind the camera. Maybe next time.

Works very well. Only thing better would be a minion to do the tilt and pan functions. It starts recording, stops recording, zooms, etc. and ir seems sensitive enough.
