I did a bit of research looking for a non-slip camera strap. This strap was advertised as a non-slip strap. I purchased it, knowing if it didn't work, I could return it to B&H,
Well, it really works. I have it fitted to a Leica M7 w/a Leica Motor M. The camera stays 'glued' to my shoulder. There is a bit of movement (slippage), but for the most part, the camera stays put.

The strap is soft nylon fabric with dual parallel, raised serpentine pattern of rubberized substance. The substance looks wet and sticky, but it's dry to the touch.

The strap is black/gray. No camera name or logo appears on the strap. The name is embossed on the leather panels. Very low key.

I'm going to purchase another one for my M2.

I ordered the Think Tank Camera Strap to use with the Pixel Racing Harness and Camera Support Straps. When I setup the straps and connected the camera to the harness I was very disappointed.

First off, the Camera Strap includes a rather narrow strap which is permanently connected to the mounting rings that connect to the Camera Support Straps ( I find the names rather confusing...Pixel Racing?). Because this narrow strap can not be disconnected it just tends to get in the way and when Camera Strap is not connected to the Harness the strap is too narrow and uncomfortable to use around the neck. I later found out the Camera Strap is not intended for use around the neck but rather to rest on a shoulder. As I prefer to use a wrist strap in place of a shoulder or neck strap the whole unit was not what I was looking for as I only wanted to connect the camera to the harness. I could cut away the narrow strap but the unit is rather pricey and I figure I can make up something much simpler without needing the narrow strap.

I wrote Think Tank about my disappointment and they quickly answered and were very helpful. I have the opinion that they are very customer oriented willing to please. In the end I decided to keep the Camera Strap although I have no plans to use it and will try to make something that is simpler and less cumbersome that just connects the camera directly to the Harness and Support Straps and enables me to use a wrist strap.

I decided to give this a try-I usually use an UpStrap. It light weight compared to the up strap. The one thing I noticed is that it does slip a little when uses as a shoulder strap. I am use to no slippage at all. That is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Comments about Camera Strap V2.0 (Black/Gray):

I use this to carry my D600 whenever it's out of a case or bag.
Best features: 1) no-slip, the camera strap does not slide left or right and this reduces dramatically the camera swaying or shifting position while hanging, 2) unused yet by me but a main reason for purchase are the rings on the strap for attaching to a chest mount harness, which makes it even easier to pick up and shoot. I liked that feature on binoculars and wanted it for cameras. For both you have to add rings or clips to the binoculars or camera and while there a lots of chest mounts for binoculars, this is the first for a camera I've seen. I want to make sure I have a harness (or backpack) that can hold the weight before I use this.

Great replacement for my Original Canon strap, like the smaller width and the every time sticking strap on my shoulder.

Only one disadvantage, the metal rings hits often during regular walks slightly body and/or lens.

I absolutely love Nikon DSLR cameras but the first thing I do when I get one is to get rid of that awful Nikon strap and buy a Think Tank strap for it. The Think Tank straps are strong and feel great around my neck. Also, they can be made longer than the Nikon straps.

Love ThinkTank Gear and I love this strap as well! I bought it for the extra grip as my old strap had 0 grip and slid off my shoulder while wearing a rain jacket and cause [$] of damage to my lens. The only trade off is this strap doesn't distribute the weight of my often heavy lenses and camera nearly as well which is the only downer and reason a took one star off. If it was as wide and distributed weight as well as my old strap and also had quick releases it'd be perfect!

Comments about Camera Strap V2.0 (Black/Gray):

I bought this strap to replace the one that came with my Fuji X Pro-1 camera. Unlike the Fuji strap that came with the camera, this one doesn't slide off your shoulder. It has a rubber zigzag pattern on both sides of the strap so it is reversible and stays on your shoulder. The strap is narrow, flexible and very comfortable for a camera of this size.

I'd probably want a wider version to carry larger and heavier DLSR cameras with big lenses.

                                  Highly recommend it.

Comments about Camera Strap V2.0 (Black/Blue):

Strap is a bit thin for the weight of my camera (5DMIII with grip). Bought it to use with the "Support Straps". This use is fine but as a stand-alone strap, I prefer the OEM one from Canon.

Comments about Camera Strap V2.0 (Black/Gray):

I purchased this product because it was necessary if I wanted to use the pixel harness. Although i like the way it is made, it is way too narrow. When carrying my DSLR and lens around my nexk, it bites and digs in...

Very disappointed that they make you get rid of your old (more comfortable) strap to use the harness and then skimp with this narrow design.
How many people shop for a narrow DSLR strap?

No I would not recommend for that reason.

I bought this strap to use with the think tank support straps on a backpack. When I opened the package I immediatley knew that the strap was too narrow (1"). I have a full framed sony and this will not be wide enough, but with prejudous I put it on my secondary aps-c camera. I shot a wedding last friday and used bolth cameras, and this strap did an awsome job with my smaller camera. As soon as I slung it on my shoulder I could feel the grip and it never slipped. I love the idea of the rings to help support the camera while wearing a backpack but I do not want to change the strap for that application everytime. This product is great for medium to light slrs.

Works well, grips the shoulder. Wanted to replace the original strap that came with my 7D, which irritates my neck. This strap is softer, yet grippy.

Comments about Camera Strap V2.0 (Black/Blue):

I really like this strap. I've attached it in a way that I can use it with my R-Strap. I also got a Think Tank backpack, so I'll be using the Camera Support Straps with this. I like that it is thin. It's uncomfortable around the neck but it makes up for it in versatility. When I'm walking around, I usually wrap the strap around my wrist. It takes the weight off my shoulder/neck but I keep the strap short enough so I can let the camera hang without banging it around. One star off because the metal rings hit the camera. It's just a scratch to the LCD waiting to happen. I wish Think Tank covered the out part of the metal rings with leather or rubber.
