I use these to store my extra batteries for my Canon 600 RX speedlights. These take 4 batteries so this provides me with a nice way to keep my sets of 4 together. I keep the + (positive) sides up for fresh batteries and place the used batteries in with the - (negative) side up so I can quickly tell the difference. You can also fill only one section to keep it more compact if that is all you need to carry.

I have a couple of AA battery powered LED lights in my kit. I keep several batteries on hand and wanted a way to better organize them. The 8AA Battery Holder from Think Tank Photo does a pretty good job, but wasn't as substantial as I had hoped. The material is a bit lack luster, but sturdy enough to feel like it will last a while. For the price tag, I am not sure it is worth what they're offering. I'd much rather have some small pelican case or something similar to house my batteries on a shoot. You might want to look elsewhere before going down this road.

This pouch is an easy way to keep 8 AA batteries sorted in my camera bag. Normally I use ziploc bags to hold batteries, but this nylon bag is much stronger and easier to pack.

You might want to think twice before purchasing the 8 AA Battery Holder from Think Tank Photo. I was hoping it would be made of more substantial material, but it does what it said it will do. For the price tag, I think I would look elsewhere perhaps purchasing some sort of Pelican Case that will hold more batteries and a charger. I have a couple of LED fixtures I use in my kit, and would much rather have something larger to accommodate it all. I like it, but overall think it is a bit pricey for what I got.

I have been using cloth battery holders for a while, but they only hold four AA batteries. This Think Tank product holds eight, and that is handy to have when in the field. It is not deluxe, but works fine.

Maybe I'm just hard to please but, from the photo, I anticipated that each battery would be held in it's own sleeve, like a bandolier holds bullets. There are just two pockets that hold the batteries, four per pocket, quite securely when full but much less so as you remove batteries ... the remaining batteries tending to go diagonal. Better than the Ziploc snack bags I've been using for AAs but not by much. Cost nudges it into the "would not recommend" category.

This battery holder blows away the plastic cases. The velco will hold up much better than the cheap plastic snaps found on the plastic cases. There is no wasted space as the case is made to fit the batteries perfectly. I will be buying more of these for my rechargable batteries.
