This pair of ISO-L8R155 Medium-Sized Studio Monitor Isolators prevent the transfer of speaker cabinet energy to surrounding surfaces, effectively isolating the speaker. By allowing the speaker to perform in free space, it's able to sound the way it was intended.
The height and tilt angle of the ISO-L8R155 are adjustable to optimize speaker positioning relative to the listener. The 2 included sets of height tubing along with 2 sets of end-plug pairs provide 14 steps of height adjustment. The different combinations are used to tilt the speaker up and down. The stand can be assembled and reconfigured repeatedly to establish the ideal position.
The ISO-L8R155 isolators are designed to support medium-sized monitor speakers no heavier than 35 pounds. They can be set to raise your speakers either 3" or 8" from the supporting surface.

Comments about IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 Studio Monitor Isolators:
I am using these with a pair of Behritone C5A monitors. The base is slightly smaller than the footprint of the C5A, yet its just enough that it looks correct and the monitor sets on it just fine. The isolation makes the C5As sound better than just resting on a bridge. In a room with a black backdrop behind the C5As, these stands make the C5As appear to be floating in air. For the height, isolation, size, and cost, these stands cannot be beat.

I'm using these with Neumann KH120s. The stands are made with satisfying, heavy gauge materials. They offer three tilt levels. I noticed a positive difference in the stereo imaging once i got these on the desk.

Comments about IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 Studio Monitor Isolators:
I needed decouplers and also stands to lift my KH120s and I found these stands do both things. So far they work just fine. I have the monitors at my head's level and they also give the impression of having things tidy on my desktop.

Comments about IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 Studio Monitor Isolators:
The stands can be high or low and tilted back or not. There are not multiple steps.
I think the cost was hight, but I heard a significant improvement than the monitor place right on a office desk.
It made my affordable Tannoy monitors come to life! I like them better than my Mackie HR824 now.
On the tall legs the Mackie HR824 felt too wobbly. I don't know the weight rating, but I ended up using the short legs kicked back as shown in the product picture.

To look at the product I expected them to be much sturdier than they are. I cannot use them at their tall height as they get wobbly.
