International Orders*Properly stitching a set of panoramic images to produce a super-sized panorama or VR movie requires, among other things, a completely level horizon line. To obtain that result, this Fiesol PB-70 Panning Base is extremely useful. It has fine micro-adjustments to help you achieve a precise horizontal plane in your images. The base can be inserted between a Fiesol Standard or Tournament tripod and its head so that it fits seamlessly into your camera support system.

Comments about FEISOL PB-70 Panning Base:
I bought this in order to get degree markings to make taking large panoramas easier and it absolutely does the job. It might not have the detent rings but it does the job for a tenth of the price of other panorama setups. The 3/8th screw allows you to attach your own ballhead on top of it which makes adapting it to your current tripod setup very easy.

Comments about FEISOL PB-70 Panning Base:
I purchased the PB-70 to use on my Manfrotto 055 XPRO tripod with a Manfrotto 561BHDV video head that came with my monopod. I now have the ability to swap and change my video head from monopod to tripod for less .It has exceptional build quality and is incredibly smooth with a large easy to use locking knob.

I used this panning head for my landscape and low-angle photograph waterfowl.
Build quality is great. Panning is very smooth and precised.

Comments about FEISOL PB-70 Panning Base:
I have one of the most complicated collection of heads for use with my Manfrotto tripod(s). A leveling base, a panning head, and a Custom Bracket swiveling system. All of those things and I couldn't get this monstrosity of unit to simply PAN! Of course, the panning systems available to me were all 'panoramic' specialty heads with a price tag right in line with 'specialty' products.
After some aggressive searching I found this great little number. I had very little expectations based on the price, but guess what?! It does what it says! Trust me, I didn't want to like this product - I'm a label lover and the thought that my other 'label' manufacturers couldn't come up with something this practical is still beyond me! Nice work FEISOL.
