Comments about Tovatec IFL WA Zoom Flashlight:

Great Dive light. I bought one to try it out and planned on using it with a GoPro. I liked it enough to buy a second one. I made a bracket to mount both lights and the GoPro for night dives. Each of these lights has a 140 degree angle of illumination with the front lens removed. By mounting them just above and on each side of the GoPro the full view of the camera is well lit. It should be noted that i'm using this in New England waters with typical visibility about 10'-15'. If you are planning on diving with the lens removed in tropical waters with much better visibility you might want stronger lights.
I've also used it as a primary and backup dive light with the lens installed.
Some of the reviews of this light said it doesn't zoom underwater. I haven't found this to be the case. They zoom and seem to have the same angles as outside the water.

Comments about Tovatec IFL WA Zoom Flashlight:

This light does not zoom underwater. The standard WA Intova light actually has a smaller beam that this one when submerged. Underwater, too diffuse and wide a beam. Useless underwater, good light for land use. When in air, works as advertised. Underwater, forget it

Comments about Tovatec IFL WA Zoom Flashlight:

My wife and I were night snorkeling using a wide angle normal IFL flashlight and a zoom flashlight. I hoped to use the zoom flashlight's narrow beam as a more focused pointer light to indicated things of interest. Unfortunately, when the zoom light is used underwater it does not deliver the promised result. The water density affects the optics and what should be a narrow beam actually is about the same diameter as the WA beam but with a significantly lower intensity. I would not recommend this flashlight for underwater use but it does deliver a narrow beam in air. It's waterproof rating was as promised and multiple uses in sea water did not cause any problems.

Comments about Tovatec IFL WA Zoom Flashlight:

This is a dive light bought a for wreck diving at Truk lagoon. We wanted both focused and wide beam which this light has. It is aluminun with double o-rings and magnetic switch should keep it from flooding. It fits nicely into the palm of your hand and has a wrist strap.I find it a bit heavy and it needs 2x CR123 batteries ($$). This is a bit of a downside for travel. Hopefully it has a true 8hr battery life. I have not dove with this flashight as of yet.
