Full HD 1080p
EVI-H100S can transmit a Full HD 1080p signal at 25 or 29.97 frames per second. 720p and SD resolutions are also available.
1/2.8-Inch Exmor CMOS Sensor
With a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 50 dB, Sony's 1/2.8-Inch Exmor CMOS Sensor produces a crisp, clear picture.
20x Optical Zoom Lens
The zoom lens has a focal length of 4.7-94mm and it provides an angle-of-view ranging from slightly wide-angle to super telephoto. That's an optical zoom ratio of 20x, and the additional 12x digital zoom insures you'll have ample reach.
E-Flip for Standard or Ceiling Mount
The E-Flip function rotates the image 180 degrees, so the picture will be viewed right-side up whether the camera is mounted in the standard position or upside down. A ceiling mounting bracket is included.
Sony's Wide-D Technology
Wide-D technology blends varying exposure values to produce images with a wide dynamic range. This process yields more details in the highlights and shadows.

Comments about Sony EVI-H100S PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (White):

We use this camera in a government meeting room setting. The original plan was to use the 1080i output to feed into our blackmagic atem 1 switcher. In 1080i mode the unit had a almost 1 second delay! I dropped it down to 720 and it works like a charm. I suspect it has an internal upscale device for 1080i causing this delay. Other than that it is what you expect from a ptz camera.

Comments about Sony EVI-H100S PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (White):

      Hi,
I wanted to used the EVI-H100S camera (4 of them)for shooting conferences, music and theater events etc.
I have a lot of experience with the BRC-300 and i already shoot dozens of event, so i really know what i was looking for.
      The Good:
the integral SDI connector is great and save money (to use SDI connection you will need a separate SDI card for BRC-700 HD for example)
For its price its give reasonable result.

      The Bad:
well, its just not good enough for my needs.
The image quality is good only for conference or house of worship, but definitely not good enough for music show, or theater performance, which using colors and light. the image is not rich enough.
But the must problematic thing is that the movement mechanism is not sensitive enough. so its really a problem to adjust and correct frame, live. also to make gently dynamics movement like smooth pan and zoom out doesn't came out good.
another thing is the iris steps.
in the BRC model the iris adjustment came out smooth.
in this model the iris step are noticeable, so again, if the light during the event is changing and if from some reason you want to correct your image exposure, its doesn't look good, so its problem in a live events.
i also didn't find a function that i can use to flip the up/down direction with the control unit. this option - changing the direction of the control stick, is important especially if you use the camera up side down like put it on a ceiling, but still to control it's movement the way you use to. this option is available in the BRC series.
So, at the end, I had to sent them back and now i'm thinking on buying a different model.
