I like the weight of this tripod as I purchased it for hiking. I do not like the design that lacks a way to secure the head to the tripod. My other tripod has three set screws that make certain the head stays firmly attached to the tripod. I had it drilled and tapped to add this feature. Without some way to be certain the head will not come loose, one may find their camera on the ground and broken.If I did not have the means to get this fixed, I would have returned the tripod.

This is a great tripod for the money! The only problem I find is that the legs can only be slanted at two different angles, but it's still easy to work with.
