The Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder from Sensei prevents the loss of lens caps. An adhesive-backed disc secures the lens cap to the elastic leash which wraps around the lens barrel. With the lens cap removed from the lens while shooting, it hangs out of the way but secure and within reach for easy retrieval. The Cap Keeper Plus is made with tough and extremely secure elastic.

This is a very basic accessory, but one that can avoid a lot of aggravation. I love to take candid shots with my Pentax 645, but in doing so, I tend to quickly remove the cap and stuff it in any pocket that seems convenient. However, more than once the cap has fallen, unnoticed, out of my pocket and that results in a lost cap, a new cap purchase and an unprotected lens until the new cap arrives. This simple little thing, a button with double-stick tape attached to a string and an elastic band, 'keeps the cap' dangling under the camera and ready to be put back on, with no thinking on my part necessary. For a scatterbrained amateur photographer like myself, this little $ thing is a life saver. I usually buy a half-dozen at a time and keep them in storage.

Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
I don't know why Canon lenses don't come with these. I've owned three Sonys before buying my DSLR and they all add lens cap holders as part of the design.

I've lost a few lens caps in the past, but now they just hang off the lens with the keeper. I have one on every lens I own. The sticky pad has never come loose so I don't worry any more. This is a great little device.

Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
The reason for the 5 stars is simple: the product is sold as a device to keep lens caps attached to the lens body by gluing one end of the device to the cap and attaching the other to the lens body with an elastic loop and it does exactly that: no more, no less. So it condorms perfectly to its representations. I don't know if the glue for the lens cap will last, if removing it will damage the cap, or if there are any other problems; I just got the product and it's currently holding the lens cap to the lens body, as represented.

Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
Works great on the nikon 18-200mm cap and the 35mm 1.8 cap, though there's not a lot of real estate on the 35mm cap to solidly stick this, but that is no fault of this device. And it stuck just fine and I have no fear of it along off.
Just be sure to place the strap on so that when you use your camera vertically/portrait, the cap is hanging from the bottom of the lens and not dangling down from the top. (Ie, have the strap/string on the left side of the lens.)
Solid construction, not flimsy or cheap at all. Exactly what I was looking for.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
I use this to make sure that my kids don't lose a lens cap when taking photos. The holder has enough string to keep the cap out of the way, but not so much as to be distracting.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
Great price, and works great.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
Bought two of these. One for my Nikon 35mm 1.8 and the other for my Nikon 18-200mm. Fits both fine.Easy to attach to the lens caps, though the 52mm lens cap (35mm) had a bit less real estate, but I'm not worried about it coming off. Was expecting a super cheap product but this actually perfect. Highly recommended.

I bought this lens cap holder for my Nikon P7700.
The double tape on this is very strong. Also, the strap is much stronger than the other one that B&H sells: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/834774-REG/Sensei_CK_L_Cap_Keeper_for_Lens.html
I love this as I attached the strap on the same anchor of my camera strap is.
Now, I will not lost and forgetting where the lens cap is.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
I feel like I've been living under a rock for years. After I lost the third cap for my Canon lens I was informed by B&H helper that there is another solution - I bought this perfect cap keeper and happy for now!
The cap side of keeper contains strong glue which works properly independently from temperature around.
The other end may be wraped around the lens as well as may be knotted arounf camera belt holder.
One of those actions you didn't even really know was a nuisance, until you found a solution.
Love it!

Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
This is a perfect lens cap holder, stays on the camera easily and allows me to change out lens covers easily by removing the elastic band.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
Works reasonably well, strap has to stretch quite a bit to fit around fatter lenses.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
I've used a lens leash since I first started shooting. It's so much easier than finding a free pocket or remembering when I stash the lens cap.
Comments about Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder:
It's useful because I often lost my lens cap. It can prevent me from doing it.
