Product Highlights
  • Tilting Bracket
  • 5 Total Shoes
  • Umbrella Receptacle
  • T Design
  • Lateral Movement on End Shoes

The Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes is a good choice for the multi-tasking photographer or videographer who wants to travel light. The aptly-named bracket has a total of 5 shoes - 3 on the crossbar of the T shaped bracket alone. The center one is fixed while each of the end shoes has 1.0" of lateral movement and 360 degrees of rotation. The end shoes each have a 1/4"-20 threaded socket for independent mounting to standard accessories, as they are removable from the T bar.

Directly under the center shoe is an umbrella receptacle for 7.0 or 8.0 mm shafts in case you want to mount the bracket on a light stand to use an umbrella to diffuse your light source. Alternatively, the removable bottom male shoe allows you to slip it into a photo or video camera's female shoe. The shoe has a 1/4"-20 female tap for mounting on a tripod or other accessory with a male 1/4'-20 screw. The Double Flash Bracket's tilting stage describes a full 180 degrees with lockable click detents, to offer maximum flexibility. You could conceivably mount this bracket to a stand with 3 flashes, an umbrella, and radio receiver. It's also useful for small LED lights.

Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

I have been waiting for something like this. I have made DIY rigs like this one but this is all in one piece. It's light plastic and the bottom shoe is kind of cheap, but overall it gets the job done and that job is holding receivers or lights or microphones. It also has 1/2 20 holes all over so that makes it even easier to attach to my Tascam unit.

Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

I bought a pair of LED lights to use at weddings. I wanted a horizontal mounting bracket with hot-shoe mounts so I could put a pair of the LED lights on a light stand.

The lug to mount this on a light stand is very flimsy. As tight as I can make it, it still seems wobbly on the light stand. There should be a different type of mounting bracket for attaching to a standard light stand.

I really thought it would be wider. The whole thing just seems flimsy, cheaply built, and poorly designed.
